It was around 10:30 Saturday morning and Tyler was still in bed.  I sat in bed and rubbed my bruise Rain left me.  I guess she's the only one in school who is allowed to wear purple wedges.  How the hell does that make any sense?

She cornered me in the locker room right after school. Then she got some other bitches to jump me.  I couldn't do anything but lay there crying.  With every kick that made contact with my body I whimpered and squeezed my eyes shut hoping it all ended soon.  After what seeming like an eternity Rain simply peered over me and let out an hmpf then walked away from my lifeless body.  I took my time trying to get up and winced with agony, breathing caused so much pain.  I let Rain and her skanks get a head start before I decided to start limping through the parking lot.  From across the parking lot I noticed a familiar red car and familiar figure approach me.  "Oh gosh, Katy!  What happened?  Are you okay?  Who did th-"  I heard the voice speak in a caring tone.

"Shut the hell up!  How dare you act like you care about me then disrespect me the second you get a chance.  Go back to those sluts that like to be spoken to that way! I don't want anything to do with you anymore.  Asshole!"  I shouted.

My ribs hurt like a bitch as I tried to hurry to my car so that I could pick up Tyler.  As much as I wanted Peter to actually be a nice person I knew I couldn't trust it.  He is only nice when its convenient for him or when no one else is around.  I already get that from Dad, I don't need it from some handsome guy from school.  I squeezed my eyes shut and suppressed the pain.  The only thing on my mind now is  I need to get Tyler.

After I picked Tyler up everything was like every other day.  Homework, dinner, then off to bed.  I did my very best to hide that I was clearly in pain and the only thing that I ever want is for Tyler to grow up knowing he is loved and not an inconvenience.  If that means that I have to put up a front so that he doesn't know what's going on in the background then so be it.  Dad has let us down and I won't do it to Tyler.  He deserves more than just a roof over his head. The second I close Tyler's door my head dropped and I let out a silent sob.

I heard my alarm blare which means one thing, its 7:30 am.  I guess its time to get up and take Tyler to an amusement park.  The second I sat up I regretted my quick movements.  I gritted my teeth at the excruciating pain and froze in place while I waited for the pain to fade away. They always say the bruising is the worst the next day.  I had never felt so much pain in one area before in my entire life.  At the same time I really don't have time to be concerned, I'll get my ribs checked out another time.  I shoved the thought aside and decided to just continue even through the pain.

After I finish getting ready I knocked on Tyler's door. "Time to wake up!  I have a surprise for you."  I said from the doorway.  Tyler buried his face further into the pillow in response to my statement.  "No sir!  Time to wake up, Now!" I shouted as I yank his blanket away.

"Nooooooooo!!" Tyler groaned.  "Hope!  Help me!"  he yelled in hopes to get her attention. Hope busted into the door, it took her a minute to evaluate the situation and the second she realized that he was not in any actual danger then she simply sniffed me and hurried back out the door.

She definitely knows who the boss is.  "C'mon Tyler, Sissy has a surprise for you but you have to get dressed first, okay?"  I made my way over to the door way where we keep track of Tyler's height and stroked my chin.  "I wonder if you've grown past the rollercoaster height limit."

The second the statement left my lips Tyler sprung out of the bed as if he didn't just try to sink into the bed.  He dashed right past me and stood right next to the markings on the doorframe.  His eyes grew wide as he realized the marking was completely eyelevel to him, meaning he had officially grown up to the minimum height requirement.
