Chapter 5: nicer welcomings

As Vibrant, Sarah, and Nightbat were walking to vibrant's apartment, Nightbat was telling them all about her experience she had. "A-and he lead me to something he called a 'Star hole' and he told me to make a wish. When I was doing that, he pushed me and I fell down for about a few minutes....then I land in this portal and ended up here but I got terribly lost.....until I fell off the fake tree and now I'm with you!" She said. Vibrant then asked "Why didn't you fly up? Don't you have wings?" Nightbat responded with "my wings are fractured so.....I couldn't do it...." Then, the three of them arrived at vibrant apartment. However, when Nightbat was about to go through the door, her dress got caught on something and she couldn't get through. So vibrant and Sarah had to pull her in. Vibrant then asked "who made the dress for you?"
"Me" Nightbat responded with.
"All by yourself?" Sarah asked with amazement. Nightbat then said "well, the foxes and raccoons helped me with the sewing and other stuff"
"They're amazing!" Sarah said. Then, Nightbat used her psychic powers to get herself inside but her dress ripped a little and she fell on the floor a little.. Vibrant then looked at her with a somewhat confused look. Nightbat said "sorry. I forgot to say I have psychic powers..." Vibrant responded with, "I can see that." Quite some time later, Sarah was in her pajamas and she asked vibrant "Can she spend the night here vibrant?" He responded with "Nope. That's a huge nope." Then, Sarah went to Nightbat, who was sitting on the couch, and she asked "Will you fly again?"
"Not yet, but I will soon...." Nightbat then lied down on the couch and fell fast asleep. Sarah noticed this and told vibrant, "wow....she sure is tired....." Vibrant was a little worried and said "oh no. That's bad."
"Please let her sleep." Sarah asked.
"She needs to go home."
"But she is a bat cat...."
"Look Sarah. Just because she has bat wings doesn't make her a bat cat. She is very confused and we have to get her home."
"So she won't stay?"
"Sadly no....c'mon Sarah. It's bed time. Fade will take you to an outing tomorrow. Better get some rest in the guest room." As they finished their conversation up, Sarah went to the guest room to get ready. In the meantime, vibrant called a taxi cab and said "Hello, I need a cab....." He then looked at Nightbat. "Because......" He heard her purring a little "Actually, never mind." He then hung up and went to Sarah's guest room. "Sarah, I want you to sleep with me tonight. "Why?" Sarah asked curiously. "Please do it" he responded. Then, he and Sarah went to vibrant's room where they also fell asleep. Nightbat was finally being treated nicer and she was just as sleepy as a kitten.
