Chapter 18: is that all you know? "No"?

Back at vibrant's apartment, Nightbat was reading Sarah's book, when vibrant came out, in his pajamas, and said "Y'know....that was a very nice story you told Sarah." Nightbat smiles and said "thanks." Vibrant then told her "Nightbat......I know how it feels when you want someone to show up, but he end up disappointing you." Nightbat responded with "I'm not wanting for him to come. Greenwing is coming." Vibrant then said "Right....anyways, if you want you can stay here. There's always room for more." Nightbat responded with "That's very nice.....but Greenwing is coming. Sharkfin the bat cat told me." Vibrant told her "I don't know if your joking or being ironic, but he isn't a bat cat." "Well not here...." Nightbat responded. Vibrant then said "What if Greenwing isn't coming?" Nightbat said "why do you keep saying that?" Vibrant then sat down and told her "I deal with this every Day. If a relationship has problems in the beginning, it doesn't work out." Nightbat said "he's coming."
"I don't think so...."
"Yes."
"I have to disagree. No.
" 'No'? Is that all you know? 'No'?!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes! Why are you so negative?! Over and over again you keep saying that! It makes me so-" Nightbat was looking for a word to describe her emotion. "So.....ANGRY!" Suddenly, Nightbat was surprised by this. Vibrant was confused and Nightbat said "I'm angry! I'm angry!" Vibrant asked her "Are you ok?" Then Nightbat calmed down, looked in his eyes, and said "I feel better now....." Vibrant then chuckled a little, thought about stuff, and said "well.....G'night." Then, vibrant went to his room to settle down for the night. Nightbat then felt something inside her she never really felt before. So she sat down and thought to herself, "What is this feeling?" Vibrant felt the same way and as he sat down on his bed, he said to himself, "Why is Nightbat.....all I can think about?" The two of them went to sleep as they thought about each other.
