Chapter 21: new arrivals

Sarah was simply in her room, trying out wolf ears, when she saw Nightbat enter the room. Sarah was super happy and said "Nightbat! You're back!" She then ran to Nightbat and hugged her. Nightbat said "I missed you! Sarah I need your help. I'm going to a ball and I dunno what to do or what I should wear. I don't even know where to find lots of silk at the moment." Sarah then said "I have something way better than that." Sarah walked to a drawer with a special credit card meant for Sarah. "Vibrant says to use it for emergencies. This is a fashion emergency." Within a few minutes, Sarah and Nightbat were shopping downtown for many things like a dress, perfume, make up, and other beauty supplies needed for Nightbat's big night. Quite some time later, Nightbat was in a salon while Sarah was giving advice to her. "Remember: you don't wanna wear too much make up because the boys could get the wrong idea." Nightbat was listening politely. Sarah then said "they have something girls like" Nightbat asked "what is it?" Sarah then said "I dunno no one will tell me" Nightbat and Sarah chucked a little and they smiled at each other. Then, Sarah asked "Is this what's it like?"
"What, sweetie?" Nightbat responded.
"Shopping with a close one?"
"Oh, I dunno I've never shopped before"
"Same here....."
"But I like it."
"Me too"
"And soon you'll have an aunty to look up too."
"You mean I'll get kicked out.............."
"It's not what they say in stories. I have met so many kind uncles and aunts and they never kick out their children. Greenwing has an uncle. I never met him but I hear he is very powerful." Nightbat said, ending their convo. Many hours later and meanwhile at the patch of grass, a black fireball was landing. BOOM! It crashed landed in the patch of grass and all of the grass burnt up with in a flash. Soon enough, the fireball revealed to be no other then Blackheart himself! Blackheart soon started walking to where sunspot was. Sunspot was talking to a therapist in a car she was driving. "Ok, Sunny. Tell me more of this guy you seem to like." Sunspot responded by saying "I always treated him like a leader.......but lately I feel like he treats me like garbage and I don't even know him anymore." As Blackheart was walking to sunspot's car, he froze the other cars and then the therapist said "I think you need to talk to him and see if he truly likes you." Then, Blackheart froze the therapist and he told sunspot "Hello Biped............Miss me?" Sharkfin, whose cage was hanging in the car, freaked out when he saw Blackheart. Especially since he was tiny. A few minutes later, Blackheart found a giant fountain that resembled an hour glass. Blackheart was chanting a spell to see where Nightbat and Greenwing were. Then, a vision appeared and it showed the building where the ball was being held. Then, it showed Nightbat and Greenwing arriving at the ball. Sunspot was very worried for Nightbat, but Blackheart couldn't care less. So he laughed evily and he said "We got her." His plan was almost complete. Sunspot knew about it, but deep inside, she was extremely regrettable of the choices she had made. And Sharkfin, well, he was through with being small. Everyone else though, were completely oblivious to Blackheart's diabolical plan to kill Nightbat. But sooner or later, things are about to get unexpected, wild, and crazy enough to be unforgettable.
