Chapter 16: Dinner is served.

Hours later, in another part of möbius, it was evening and Nightbat, Vibrant, and Sarah decided to have dinner at an Italian restaurant. Vibrant was showing Nightbat some magic tricks and Nightbat was very impressed, especially with one particular trick. "Ooh! Ooh! Do it again!" Nightbat exclaimed happily. Vibrant chuckled and said "ok ok. One more time." He then performed the magic trick again and Nightbat was very surprised. "Y-you have powers!" She said. Vibrant giggled, then Nightbat noticed that they were having dinner and they were having a good time, so she asked "Is this a date? You told me that a date is when you do something and have a good time." Vibrant responded with "Not really. People don't usually bring their children on dates." Nightbat then looked at Sarah, who was sitting at a different table, and said "oh.....that's too bad......Sarah is super sweet." Vibrant responded by saying "Yeah.....funny thing is that she is actually visiting me because her mother is on vacation." Nightbat thought for a minute and asked vibrant "Do you miss her?" Vibrant said "Miss who?"
"Elly?"
"Yeah.....about her.....I don't talk about her much....."
"Why not?"
"Well.....she was once my girlfriend.....until....."
"Until what?"
"I kept telling her that I had missions, but she wanted me to...."
"To do what?"
"Quit my job just to be with her......I said no, but she didn't understand"
"What did she do?"
"......she broke up with me and she left....."
"Oh my......"
"I don't want something like that happening to Sarah..."
"That's why you want her to be safe?"
"Yes, and that 'anything is possible' nonsense isn't true, like she thinks it is."
"But anything truly is possible. And maybe something wonderful will happen-" Just then, Sunspot, in another disguise, went to Nightbat and said in an Italian accent, "Hello madam. How about a drink?" She then put the drink, which had another one of blackheart's viles poured in it, in front of Nightbat and she asked "What is it?" Vibrant thought to himself, "How does she keep getting stuff?" As sunspot explained "Simple! It's cherry wine!" Nightbat said "it sure looks tasty!" Vibrant then said "Careful, it can pack a punch." Nightbat looked at him and said "You're kidding." Then she said "I won't drink too much." Then as she lifted the drink to her mouth, sunspot was sweating. But then, Sharkfin ran inside, knocked the drink out of Nightbat's hand and said "Don't drink that!" Everyone in the restaurant was shocked and they looked at him. "Sharkfin! You're here!" Sharkfin then whispered some secrets in Nightbat's ear, but everyone thought he was biting her ear. "Someone! There's a wild cat here!" Sarah saw Sharkfin and said "a tabby cat!" Vibrant then ran to Sarah and said, holding her close, "it's Ferrell, Sarah, it's wild." Sharkfin then told Nightbat, "Listen cous'! Greenwing is here and he's coming!" Nightbat was very excited and said "Greenwing is here?!" Suddenly, Sunspot started to chase Sharkfin again and they were on a wild chase too. Then, Sharkfin grabbed the pizza, started eating it, and he found a corner. Sarah then spotted Sharkfin and said "He's nervous eating the pizza." Nightbat then started to go to Sharkfin, but sunspot, who had a cage with her, grabbed Sharkfin, tossed him in the cage and got a power ready. "I'm so sorry." Sunspot whispered those words and she used her power to shrink Sharkfin and his cage to the side of a tennis ball! "Noooooooooooooo!" Sharkfin said, with his voice getting squeakier. Nightbat was shocked at what sunspot did and she teared up a little. Vibrant asked "You ok nights?" Sarah, hugging vibrant, said "Oh vibrant....." Meanwhile everyone was clapping for sunspot while poor Sharkfin was dizzy from being shrank by sunspot.
