Chapter 24: true love

"True love's kiss...." Greenwing looked up to him and said "huh?" Vibrant said "Nightbat told me that.....it is very powerful....." Greenwing the said "of course!" He then went to Nightbat and he muttered to himself "I knew that" he then bent down and he kissed her. But nothing happened. Greenwing was worried and he did again, but nothing happened. He did again and still nothing happened. "It's not working!!! But then, ding. The clock was almost there to striking twelve. Blackheart smirked and he said "you'll never save her now, when the clock strikes twelve, she will be gone!" Ding. Greenwing then said, "wait a sec." Vibrant then got surprised and he said "no, I couldn't."
"Don't you see? You can do it!"
"I only knew her for a few days and fade-"
"DO IT VIBRANT!" Fade yelled. "It's ok...." Vibrant then looked at Nightbat, gently touched her cheek with the side of his hand and he teared up as he whispered, "nights......please don't leave me...." He then lifted her up a little and he kissed her. The second he did that though, ding. The clock stroke twelve. When vibrant stopped kissing her, Nightbat didn't move. At first. So everyone thought that Nightbat was dead. But then, Nightbat started moving and she woke up. As she opened her eyes, she looked at vibrant, smiled a little, and she said "I knew it was you." She then kissed vibrant, and the two of them hugged each other. Everyone else was clapping and Greenwing smiled at them. Sunspot was smiling and she said "that's my big sis." Blackheart was enraged by this, so he grabbed sunspot's sword and he yelled, then he pointed it at vibrant and Nightbat. Nightbat got up and she hid behind vibrant. "The most powerful thing in the world, my butt. I don't think so." Blackheart said, slowing going to the dance floor. He then stated "you have absolutely no idea what I'm doing next." He then looked at everyone and he said "y'all want a show? I'll give you one!" He then walked to the center whole saying "Back up! Get ready for the main event!" Sunspot and Greenwing were running towards Blackheart while sunspot was saying "ooh that big!" Blackheart then chanted "I wish not to be a cat! LET THY REGAIN TRUE FORM!!!!!!!" He then slammed the sword on the center of the room and a giant explosion happened, sending sunspot and Greenwing flying! As the explosion happened, black fire surrounded Blackheart and he started to transform into something big and dangerous. Vibrant and Nightbat were watching the transformation and they were both scared, especially Nightbat. After the fire extinguished, Blackheart revealed himself to be a Ginormous demon with black and red eyes, plus long and sharp teeth! He then said "ah I remember this feeling. The talk of love and happiness truly brings out my inner demon." He started to say. "But of course if I'm gonna remain leader I'll need a story when I go back. Let's see. What if a giant demon shows up and murders everyone? And Blackheart couldn't do a thing about it?" He then eyed Nightbat in an evil way and he said "let's begin with the cat who started it all shall we?" Vibrant got in front in Nightbat, glared at Blackheart, and said "Over my dead body." Blackheart then said "alright. I'm cool with it." Suddenly he grabbed vibrant! Nightbat was shocked by this. Blackheart then prowled over to a window while roaring. He then looked at Nightbat and said "C'mon Nightbat! I don't want you to miss this part!" He hen broke out the window and started to climb the building with vibrant in his grasp. Nightbat then grew mad at Blackheart. So she went to the sword grabbed it, and she got her dress ready for fighting. But then she noticed how much she would need the sword, so she ran out while ripping off some of her ballroom dress.
