Mia's POV
It's been one month since Austin left. Chase has been the sweetest. But something's amiss. I haven't had my period yet. And it's the end of the month.
I pace around my room. Chase sitting on my bed looking at me.
"Should I be worried? I mean it's been a month. What if I'm Pregnant?" Chase gets up and stops me. Looking me in the eyes he says, "Mia. I'm not sure if you're pregnant or not but if you are then I'll stand by you. If you aren't then so be it." He says sincerely.
I kiss him on the cheek. "Thanks Chase. I think I should go get a pregnancy test. You should come with me." I suggest getting my purse.
We go to the pharmacy and buy 2 pregnancy tests. When I get home I do both of them. Waiting for 5 minutes, I look at both of them. They both say positive. My eyes go wide and the shock grips me.
My legs wobble and sway this way and that. Tears rim my eyes as I run down the stairs to the family room where Chase is. "I'm P-Pregnant." I stutter. The tears fall out of my eyes.
"How could have let this happen. I knew I shouldn't have had sex with Austin." I cry, holding into Chase. My eyes Narrow, tears still coming. "I think you should call Austin and tell him about this." Chase says softly. Rubbing my shoulders.
I get my phone and dial Austin.
"Mia! Oh thank god it's you."
I stifle a sob. "Austin I have to tell you something. The condom. It broke. And I'm..." I take a deep breath, "Pregnant."
The other side of the phone is silent. I thought Austin hung up when I hear,"I'll be there. As soon as I can. I promise. How's Chase treating you Angel?"
I smile at his perkiness. "He's treating me just fine. And Austin I miss you." I smile. "I miss you too Angel. I love you Mia. I love you so much. And whatever happens to us. I want you to know this."
I close my eyes and picture his goofy smile. Making me smile even harder. "I love you too Austin."
I hang up the phone to find I was alone the whole time I was talking to Austin. Chase probably left awhile ago.
I get up to go find him.
