*SUMMER'S POV*
"Summer, can I speak to you.. in private?" Luke whispered from behind me.
"Uh yeah sure.." I said, standing up and heading away from the benches with him. As soon as we were away from everyone else he started whispering.
"So basically, I really like Auburn. I was kinda wondering if you could tell her for me?" I giggled and put my hand over my mouth nodding.
"Yeah sure, I'll tell her." I giggled. He rolled his eyes before hugging me and running off calling behind him,
"It's not funny!"
*MICHAEL'S POV*
A dark haired boy appeared behind Summer and whispered something in her ear. She got up and walked away from the benches with him. They were stood so close and whispering. Summer giggled, slamming her hand to her mouth. I didn't realize I was staring until Auburn spoke to me.
"Lewis? That's Luke, and they're just friends."
I laughed and shook my head. Do they seriously think I like her? I met her about two hours ago!
*SUMMER'S POV*
I walked back to the benches, noticing everyone staring at me.
"What was that about?" Lewis asked, smiling up at me. I laughed again, remembering what Luke had said.
"Oh he just had some 'information' for me!" I smirked at Auburn as I sat down, a little closer to Lewis than before. He stretched his arm across the back of the bench and smiled at me, looking between me and the others.
I looked at the people filling the other two benches, all watching me and Lewis. I rolled my eyes and slowly leant back against his arm, looking up nervously to see his reaction. He carried on scrolling through his phone but a smile began to light up his face. We were sat like this, quite quietly, for a few minutes before Lewis turned to speak to me.
"Wanna head to science early?" He asked, sitting up and grabbing his bag.
"Yeah okay." I grabbed my bag and stood up, "any one else coming?"
Rosie laughed and shook her head.
"I think we'll leave you two alone."
She winked as we left and I just glared at her, shaking my head.
We walked in silence for a minute, or two, until Lewis spoke.
"I think they think we like eachother.."
He watched me. I didn't know what to say. I'd met this boy a few hours ago and I admit at first he was a tad annoying but he was cute, and he made me feel and nervous and giggly. It was weird.
"Yeah I think they do.."
I couldn't tell him that I liked him. About the butterflies and the way he made me blush. That would scare him off big time, and honestly I wanted him to stick around. I had always been awkward with boys anyway, let alone extremely cute ones that I'd only just met but already started to like.. Why did I have to be so difficult!?
"Yeah.." He sighed and we walked in silence again for a while.
"What do you think?" His question caught me off guard and I just looked up at him. He smirked and shoved his hands in his pockets. Without waiting for my answer he continued.
"Because I think they're right."
