Clarke's POV

Four days.

Bellamy still hadn't shown up at school by Thursday and I was getting worried. I knew it shouldn't have been my place to worry and he could handle himself, but I couldn't help but think that I should be doing something. He hadn't stated what we were, if we were anything, but I couldn't find myself thinking about another person the way I thought about him.

Raven had avoided me all week, only giving me a death glare or a smirk when we passed in the hall as if she knew something that I didn't and I hated that feeling. She was suspiciously quiet in class just looking out the window as if deep in thought,

I laughed at myself for that, she didn't have the mental capacity for her thinking process to go further than the newest colour of lip gloss that was out.

I continued to check my phone multiple times a day, during class, between classes, in the bathroom, during the breaks, and nothing. Bellamy had not contacted me once.

Should I call him? I debated the thought in my head before reaching the answer no if he wanted to talk he would have called me or at least sent me a text letting me know he was ok. What if he was thinking the exact same thing? Great. Now I'm overthinking it. Why are boys so damn confusing!?

DAY FIVE

I decided to hold my head high today. I marched into school with a sense of superiority which I of course knew was fake, but I sure as hell wasn't letting anyone notice. I strut through the halls and make my way to the classes without a second thought. This must have worked in my favour because I was getting looks from people who wouldn't even think about me at all, much less know who I was.

I guess I was too focused on feigning composure that I didn't realise the brick wall I had walked into. I was even more confused when the brick wall bent down to pick up my books for me.

"Sorry" the brick wall laughed

"Don't worry about it, I should have been watching where I was going" I kept my eyes on my books, trying to reorganise them in my arms

"That makes two of us" Finn smiled as he ran his hand through his hair. I smiled back at him when I realised it was an old friend I was talking to

"Hey I haven't seen you in a while"

He fell into step beside me "Yeah it has been too long
