Clarke's POV
I didn't want to talk to anyone today, so I just focused on getting all my work done and not letting anyone interrupt me.
That was, until I walked out of the office after I signed out, so I could go get lunch.
Bellamy and Raven were hand-in-hand, walking to Bellamy's car. He opened the door for her, and she got in, after giving him a quick peck on the cheek.
I felt sick to my stomach, and wanted to just go home.
What is he doing? Is this because of me and Finn? Is this revenge? I quickly shuffled to my car, not wanting to collapse in the parking lot. Before I could even shoved my keys into the ignition, i left out a shaky breath. I couldn't drive in this mindset. I took my keys out and signed back in at the office, apologizing for the inconvenience and making up a lie how I forgot I had brought lunch with me.
I made my way to my locker once the bell had gone, staring at it blankly, not sure what to do. I grabbed my books out, closing the door. I jumped at Finn standing behind it, his head on an angle looking at me.
"What's up, princess?"
I smiled at the thought of where that name came from. "Nothing," I sighed, "just did't feel like going out to lunch."
"Hey, what's wrong?" He frowned at me, looking deep into my eyes.
I dragged my eyes over to the hallway door, where Bellamy and Raven had just walked in. As the strutted down the hall, heads turned everywhere.
"Oh, I guess they're together then?" Finn asked, his arm tensing.
He grabbed my hand, catching me off guard. He interlaced our fingers and walked in the other directly, right in the path of Bellamy.
When both couples met, Bellamy glanced at our hand and chuckled to himself
"So I guess the weekend worked itself out then?"
"Better than anything you ever did."
(Bellamy's POV)
I glared at Finn after his comment, not wanting to retaliate or start a fight. I knew he was only doing this to get back at me for being with Raven.
I smirked at him and looked down at Clarke, but she didn't meet my eyes. She glanced around the hallway, at Raven, Finn, our hands, her hands, and brushed across my face. In that split second I saw the pain she hid behind her eyes.
My expression fell and I wanted to be sick. I couldn't stand making her this upset, but she had been the one to break things off with us.
For the rest of the day, I tried to get Clarke off my mind, which wasn't too difficult with Raven all over me. She giggled to Harper about how we got together (which wasn't that extravagant, I just asked her to lunch) and Harper was already thinking of couple names for us. Truthfully, I didn't expect this relationship to last that long that it deserved a nickname, and I didn't really want it to.
I was staring out the window, and only brought back to reality when the teacher called my name for the role. I answered and listened to everyone else call various "here's" and "yes'"
I frowned slightly when there was no response for Clarke's name. The teacher called it three times but still nothing.
"I wonder where she is," I said quietly to myself, not realising how close Raven was.
"What does it matter?" she leaned in, "I'm with you now." she batted her eyelashes, so close that they almost touched mine. She knew what I liked, but I knew what girls like her liked better.
I tilted my head, so our lips were almost connected. She looked up at me with innocent eyes, and I smiled, moving my lips so they brushed against hers. She melted under that. I moved her chin with my hand, so our faces were level. I stroked her cheek with my thumb and turned away, smirking.
"Bellamy!" She squealed, lightly punching me on the arm. I turned to face her, grabbing her wrist so fast that she almost jumped back. I was about to go on, but the bell went to go home.
I put Raven's hand on her thigh, covering it with mine, "I have to go home early tonight, so I won't be able to hang out." I squeezed her thigh lightly, convincing her not to ask further questions. She pouted her lips, but let my hand go and grabbed her stuff.
"Ok, but we have to hang out later"
"mm," I agreed, but someone else was on my mind.
