Clarke's POV

I woke up to the sound of Finn's voice calling out my name. Apparently he had gone into my tent to say good morning and found me missing. I guess he didn't realize that I had spent the night in Bellamy's arms.

I rolled over to look at Bellamy but he was already awake. He groaned and turned so he was sitting on the side of his bed. I stared at his back for a moment, the toned muscles perfectly sculpted.

He pulled a shirt over his head and leaned down to me, resting on his elbows

"Morning, princess" he kissed my forehead

I smiled at him, but it quickly faded when someone unzipped the tent and stormed in.

"Bellamy," Finn said in a huff, pacing around the room, "Clarke's gone missing, we need to g-" he stopped when he noticed me still lying in the bed.

His facial expression were flickering between surprise, hurt, and betrayal.

"H-How could you?" he stammered. "I thought.." his eyes switching between me and Bellamy.

"You thought wrong," Bellamy interrupted.

Finn straightened his back and his face went neutral.

"Whatever, it never meant anything to me anyway." sarcasm drifted through his tone.

I sighed to myself and looked over at Bellamy, who watched Finn all they way until he zipped the tent back up.

"You don't care about him, do you?" He eyed me up and down.

I hesitated for a moment before answering, "Not the way I care about you."

"But you care about him." he stated.

"Yes.." i said slowly. "but it's not like that. It was a one time thing and it's over now." I took a step closer to him, but he took one back.

"Tell him that, then." He exited the tent, leaving me standing in middle, unsure of what to do next.

Tears welled in my eyes What have I done? I thought to myself, I can't fix it this time.

I hugged myself and walked out of the tent, expecting to run into Bellamy, I hoped, wanting to talk.

Instead Finn was waiting for me, Bellamy sitting by last night's campfire, putting it out.

"So you broke things off?" Finn remarked a little too cheerfully.

"I guess, if we ever were anything."

"I'm glad, princess." I cringed at my nickname coming from his mouth.

"I know" I muttered to myself when he was far enough out of earshot.

I have an idea of how to introduce Octavia into this story, but it probably won't happen for another 2 or 3 chapters.

Does anyone else have ideas for how to get her into the story? Or do you think she will be a good asset or a liability?
thanks
