Clarke's POV

The smell on pancakes woke me up in the morning, the mixture with blueberries and chocolate chips making its way through my door that was open slightly. I had followed Bellamy's instructions and called my mum to get her to take the night shift off for the past few days. She was reluctant at first, but changed her mind when I told her about my phone call with Bellamy. I had expected her to bombard me with questions about him since he was a guy whom she had never met, but for some reason she was completely fine, no questions asked. She had just dropped everything and came home straight away.

I had Bellamy's shirt on that I took from his house when I wore it to the move night. I slipped it off and hung it over my desk chair, wrapping myself in a towel and heading to the bathroom. The water fell on my back and I closed my eyes, letting the warmth surround me.

Heading downstairs, I saw my mum working tirelessly in the kitchen, trying to complete her work from the hospital and finish making my breakfast

"Really mum," her eyes flicked up to meet mine at the recognition "I think I'm old enough to make my own pancakes, take a break I can handle it."

She gave me a sympathetic smiled and ruffled my hair "Thanks, kiddo"

I finished my pancakes and made a few extra for mum too, although she didn't acknowledge it since she had been doing so much work on her laptop and wasn't able to drag her concentration away. I ran up to my room to grab my bag and my phone, subconsciously expecting, hoping, to have a message from Bellamy, it had been days since we last spoke. But the only thing that my phone told me was that I was running late to school.

I had been stupid to think that I would see Bellamy's car as I pulled into my park as I hadn't seen him or even contacted him since our last phone call. I had tried to talk to him, but the number never went through or to voicemail, just disconnected straight away. Had he left me? Or was he coming back? I couldn't bring myself to believe that he wasn't coming back, I still held on to the tiny bit of hope that he had felt something and that would be enough to bring him back to me. But the urgency in his voice made it impossible for me to believe anything was true. He sounded as if he was on the run but I didn't know from what or from who and that's what scared me the most.

Snapping me out of my thoughts was the sound of Raven's shrill voice echoing throughout the school "Boyfriend's not here, huh Clarke?"

I returned her snide comment with and smirk and a laugh "Not my boyfriend, but not yours either" She gave me the expression equivalent of the middle finger. I smiled to myself

"Where's he at then?" By now, she had strut her way over to me and we were walking side-by-side to my locker.

When I didn't answer, she only smiled and leaned against the locker next to mine "What's wrong? Did he run away and smash his phone, ceasing contact with you forever?" Her voice had gotten all high and innocent, fanning her eyelashes like some little kid.

My eyes widened and narrowed at her "How did you know that?" I hissed. Raven simply ignored my surprised and twirled her hair around her finger.

"What? You think you're the only girl he talks to? Please" Her phone rang in her purse and she flicked it out dramatically, making it seem like whoever was calling was almost like a chore for her to talk to. "Sorry I have to take this, it's probably important" she smirked and showed me the screen, incoming call flashing right underneath Bellamy's name.

Bellamy's POV

"Raven, pick up" I swore at my burner phone in my hand, nervously looking around and always checking my back. I was shaking my hand the phone was in, tempted to smash this one too if she didn't pick up.

"Hey" Raven finally said into the phone "I was waiting for your call" She sounded like she was trying to seduce me, but I returned her attempts with a laugh.

"Why are you talking like that?" I chuckled

"Like what?"

"Like a whore"

I swear I could hear her pout that I wasn't playing her game anymore. "Did you talk to her?"

She sighed in disappointment "Yeah," she spoke in hushed tones, I could hear a crowd around her that indicated she was at school, "she doesn't suspect anything, just kinda annoyed you left her."

"I didn't leave her" I said through gritted teeth "You were supposed to tell her that and nothing else."

"Well.. I may have twisted that a bit, you know, the part where you care about her and are going to come back for her" I pinched the bridge of my nose

"Twisted how?"

"I may have accidentally mixed up her name with mine"

"RAVEN" I swear this girl was going to give me a headache. "Is her mum staying with her at home at all times at least?"

"Define mum"

"Anya."

"As far as I know, I haven't gotten an update from her yet but Clarke doesn't seem too distressed, just kind of moody." My phone began flashing indicating it was time to leave or someone could be tracing and tracking me down very soon.

"Raven, I've gotta go. Make sure to keep an eye on her and let me know if anything happens, I'll text you my new number"

"Where are you going to go now?" She wined, I couldn't tell her but I know she wouldn't let it go if she had no information on my whereabouts

"Finding an old friend, I think she can help. Look I really have to go." Before she could answer I disconnected the call and threw the phone over the rail I was behind, making sure it landed far enough in the ocean that it wouldn't wash up on shore until it was completely destroyed.

I turned on my feet and walked back through the clearing to the entrance of the cave I was scheduled to be at. My training proved that to step foot first was to show vulnerability, so I waited until they came through the bushes first.

"I know you're there, Blake. Show yourself."

I stepped through the bushes and into the entrance and the protective cover of the cave.

"Hello, Abby."
