Rae'lynn

I woke up the next afternoon and sighed. I picked up my phone and it was almost 1 o'clock. The jet lag was too real.

There were three text messages from Chris and one missed call from Andrea. Ugh, Chris.

I don't think I was overreacting, honestly. How you allow yourself to be put in a situation like that? 1. You're in public and you're a celebrity. Put two and two together. 2. That's your ex, you shouldn't be touching her. Call me petty, oh well.

That's not even what bothered me though. What bothered me the most is that he made me look stupid in the media. It doesn't just affect him, it's me too. I refuse to be embarrassed or out here looking stupid in my relationship. I've been through that before and I refuse to be put through it again.

Eventually, I'll talk to him but right now, I'm chillin by myself. One problem, I didn't have anything to do today. When I came back, I planned on hanging with my boyfriend but you see how that turned out.

I could call Andrea and set up something but I didn't feel like being around anyone. If I call my mom, she'll worry and it's not that big. Ugh. I decided to just go for a jog. I haven't exercised in a minute.

I quickly washed up, I would take a full shower when I was done. I threw on PINK yoga pants, a fitted tee and sneakers. Before I left the house, I made sure that I had my phone, earphones and a water bottle.

I've been running for almost two hours. Just going from block to block. For some reason, it was really relaxing for me.

Finally, I was tired so I decided to walk back. My phone started vibrating and it was a FaceTime from Andrea.

"Hey." I answered.

"How you feelin' bookie?" She pouted.

"I'm alright. I'm on my way back from a run."

"Clearing your head?" I nodded.

"Chris has been calling me all morning to see if you were okay."

I sighed. "I bet."

"You're gonna have to talk to him eventually, Rae."

"I know, Andrea. I wouldn't be surprised if he was at my house right now." I rolled my eyes.

"He loves you, boo."

"I love him too but he made me look stupid."

"Listen. First of all, you don't look stupid. Everybody has been ran through by the media. Your true friends & family know what's up. Second, for everyone who believes that crap, you show them different. Don't let it get you down or affect you if you know the real truth."

I chuckled a little. "You be preaching but you're right." I sighed.

"Aren't I always?" She flipped her hair. "Now go, clean yourself up & eat. The crew is going out to the club tonight. And yes, your man is going to be there so I suggest you guys make up." She blew me a kiss and hung up.
