Chapter 1

MELODY'S POV

I was sat on the train with my brothers Danny and Jacob. They are in their third year and they are super protective. Right now they are teasing me about everything.

"Go away guys" I said standing up

"Come on Mel's were only teasing" Jacob said

"Well stop it" I said walking out

"Where you going?" Danny asked

"Anywhere but here" I said. I walked along the train looking to see if there were any empty carriages but there weren't. I looked in one to see my friend Rose Weasley sitting with 3 guys who I assume are her cousins. I've known Rose since we were little becuase our mums work together at the ministry. I opened the carriage door and everyone looked at me.

"Melody?" Rose asked

"Hey Rose" I said as she stood up to give me a hug "Can I sit in here my brothers are annoying me?"

"Yeah sure" Rose said. I sat down next to her and looked at the three boys on the other side of the carriage.

"Melody these are three of my cousins" Rose said

"How many do you have again?" I asked

"Too many to count" she said "anyway this is Fred" she said pointing at the red headed one.

"Hey" Fred said

"Hi" I said

"This is James" He said pointing to the curly haired boy.

"Nice to meet you" James said

"You too"

"And this is Albus" Rose said rose said pointing to the cute one in the middle.

"Hey" Albus said

"Hey" I said

Albus and James Potter. The son of Harry and Ginny Potter. Fred Weasley the son of George Weasley one of the best prankers of all time. Albus was really cute.

"So what house do you think your gonna get put in?" Fred asked

"Well I want to be in Gryffindor but because everyone in my dad's family were in that house but my mum was in Hufflepuff and everyone in her family were in either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw." I said

"Aren't your brothers in Slytherins?" Rose asked

"Yeah and my parents weren't too pleased" I said

"Who are your brothers?" James asked

"Danny and Jacob Smith they're third years" I said

"Hey Fred her brothers are some of the only Slytherins we get on with" James said

"Really now because I think they're pains in the arse" I said and James chuckled. I noticed Albus was being quiet but he was staring at me.

"So Albus what house do you think you're going to be in?" I asked. Albus snapped out of his gaze.

"Um I want to be in Gryffindor" Albus said

"Cool" I said

"Mels we need to change" Rose said

"Ok lets go to the bathrooms" I said

ALBUS' POV

After Melody and Rose went to the bathrooms to get changed James Fred and I started to talk. I zoned out and started thinking about Melody. Is it possible to like someone even though you've just met them?

"Albus? Al? Albus?" James said snapping his fingers in front of my face

"Huh?" I said snapping out of my thoughts

"You were thinking about Melody weren't you?" Freed asked

"What no" I said

"Yeah you were you like her" James said

"No I don't" I said. But what if James is right? What if I do like her? Is that possible after not even a day of knowing each other?
