1. Broken Smiles (Samifer)

"Come on, do it one more time." "No, not going to happen." "Why not" Lucifer whined. "Because I was doing it to mock you, not for you to injoy it." Sam said, sitting at a desk in the bunker doing research for dean's and his latest hunt.

Ever since Sam started seeing Lucifer again things have been a lot harder on him. Now all he ever hears and sees are dumb jokes and sadistic pranks."Come on Sammy I promise I will leave you alone."

"Don't call me sa- wait did you just say you'll leave me alone?" Sam asked the devil with a skeptical look. Lucifer looked into sams hazel eyes. Sam's breath hitched. Lucifer was looking straight into his eyes with so much adoration and care. Sam felt something tugging at his heart making him look away and blush.

"Yes I promise" Lucifer chuckled in a soft and kind tone. Sam just nodded, almost hypnotized by the beautiful sound coming from Lucifer and the look he was giving sam.

Sam took a deep breath and crossed his eyes and stuck his tongue out. Lucifer couldn't hold back, he began to laugh.

Sam felt his heart tighten with hurt. He felt hurt because he thought Lucifer might actually not hate him, and they could be friends. He thought Lucifer might actually care for him but all hopes were lost in that moment.

Sam got up and walked away toward his room not wanting to let Lucifer see the tears in his eyes. He couldn't take sitting there being laughed at. "Hey Sammy were yah goin?" Lucifer asked still smiling. Sam stopped for a moment feeling a tug of pain when he said his name like that. "To bed" Sam said lowly but not low enough because Lucifer heard the crack in his voice. Sam could tell he had heard and quickly rushed to bed.

Lucifer sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out what this emotion he had long sense forgotten was. Suddenly it hit hard and the gult and pain of upsetting Sam came flooding in. Lucifer though to himself "I'm the devil, I shouldn't be feeling this way, especially towards a human." But he new that was a lie. He had feelings for Sam. Feeling he didn't wait to think about, but could only be described as love.

He knew he had to apologize to Sam but how? And what if Sam didn't believe him, or worse Sam was completely done with him. Lucifer felt a lump in his throat at the thought of Sam not wanting to be his friend. He knew he had to make it up to Sam.

Sam lay in bed with tears running down his cheeks. He wished he didn't have to see Lucifer anymore. "Why would he ever care about a freak like me?" Sam whispered in a sad broken voice. "Because you are amazing and kind and smart. I could go on forever and I will if you want me to." Lucifer said standing next to Sam's bed.

Sam jumped at the sudden sound of lucifer's voice than quickly rolled over so he was hiding his face. "Leave me alone. I know your lying." Sam said angry. "Sam I'm sorry I didn't mean to laugh at you, it's just you looked so adorable and happy and it just... made me happy to see you smile for once.

Sam instantly felt heat rise to his cheeks as Lucifer talked to him. He wanted to believe him so bad he really did but what if this was just another one of his evil jokes. "Please don't, I've been hurt too many times and I can't take anymore pain." Sam's voice sounded so broken and defeated. "Are you happy now Lucifer? You finally did it. After all the sick jokes and pranks you finally broke me."

Lucifer felt himself shatter. He felt like everything in him had fell apart and bursted into flames. The pain he once felt in hell wasn't even comparable to what he felt now.

Lucifers act was up. He couldn't pretend he didn't like Sam. He couldn't hide his feelings anymore.

"Samm-" that's all Lucifer could get out before the pain became to much. Lucifer started to cry. Sobs rocked his body. The tears that escaped his eyes where running down his face. Lucifer's legs begin to shake. "Sammy I'm so sorry. Not only have I broken you, but now I have also broken myself." Lucifer cried as he fell to the floor sobbing even harder.

To say Sam was shocked would be an understatement. Sam couldn't believe what was happening next to him. The devil him self was on his floor crying his eyes out and apologizing to him.
Sam looked over to Lucifer. when he laid his eyes on Lucifer it broke his heart even more. Never had he seen Lucifer so broken or even sad to be exact. In that moment Sam knew he was telling the truth.

Sam slowly got off the bed and sat beside Lucifer. Sam placed his hands on Lucifer's jaws tilting his head up. Surprising Lucifer by doing to. Just like earlier Sam crossed his eyes and stuck out his tongue. Lucifer looked for a second not understanding what Sam was about to do, but the moment he saw the face Sam was making. Not only did his eyes light up but so did his heart. He grind from ear to ear at Sam. Sam stopped and smiled back. He could see the love Lucifer felt for him.

"I'm so sorry Sam I didn't mean to hurt you." Lucifer said, tears in his eyes again. "It's ok, I know you didn't mean to." Sam said in a soft voice.

Sam and lucifer looked into each others eyes Sam slowly started to lean in Lucifer soon following until their lips ment. The kiss was soft and gentle, but to Sam it felt like a million fireworks going off in his stomach. Lucifer forgot what it felt like to have someone's lips on his. He had forgot how good it felt.

Lucifer and Sam pulled away slowly, both smiling. "How about we fix each other together." Lucifer said, eyes flaming with the love he felt for sam. "OK deal." Said Sam giving Lucifer one of his brightest smiles. Lucifer pulled Sam into his chest cuddling him close to where his heart should be. "I promise to always love and protect you. No matter what." Lucifer said as he looked down and placed a sweet kiss apon sams head. "I love you." Sam said looking into Lucifer's eyes. "I love you to my little hunter." Lucifer said pulling Sam closer.
