//idk how ti start so I'll jump in and come back and start latter//

About a week ago Lucifer was watching (stalking) Sam, when suddenly the hunter hopped in his car and drove off. Normally Lucifer would have thought nothing of this, except for the look in Sam's eyes as he walked past an invisible lucifer. The look Sam's eyes held was dead. There was no light, no hope, no sign of life in them, and that's what scared lucifer. He had never seen sam like this, yes he had seen him broken up and destroyed, but those were all emotions. What Lucifer was seeing now was empty, nothingness. All signs of the Sam he once knew gone. What scared him the most though, was that he knew Sam wasn't possessed and that his soul was in fact, there. Where was the man he was falling for?

Lucifer knew something was off. He snapped into the car, making sure to stay hidden. He looked over to Sam and that's when he noticed the tears on his face. Lucifer just started. He didn't know how to handle this. He was only just learning how to feel. He knew he didn't know how Sam was feeling, that didn't mean he couldn't feel sad for Sam. He didn't want to see Sam cry, tears don't look good on him. He felt a ping in his chest when he thought about how Sam looked right now. He wanted nothing more than to reach out and wipe his tears away, but a part of him said no, he needed to know what Sam was doing and why he had left like that. He didn't have a bag with him and he left his wallet on the table in the bunkers main room. Lucifer just felt like something was very off.

Sam started to mummer to himself. Lucifer caught bits and pieces. He caught how tired Sam was and how nothing was going right. He continued to listen to sam. He slowly started to see that Sam had been suffering a long time, in fact, his whole life. His childhood, if you can call it that, had been very hard. He didn't have a choice of becoming a hunter, he was thrown into it. Then when he tried to leave here just ended up with a dead girlfriend, the first to die in a long list of people he cared for. All of this had overtime, destroyed Sam's mental. He did just good enough to take it in front of Dean a Cass, but beyond that, he was shattered man.

Lucifer sat quietly, taking it all in. His heart now ached for the man next to him. He knew Sam's life had never been a cakewalk, but holyshit, this was a level truly surprised him. Just how many beatings the hunter had actually taken. Lucifer knew madness and what it does to you, hell Lucifer was madness. He couldn't understand how all of this hadn't gotten to Sam but seeing him now, it did. It got to him deep down in his soul. It ate away at him from the inside, sucking the life out of him till there was nothing but a hull of what used to be a man left.

Lucifer suddenly felt the car stop and looked at the window to see where they were at. It was a small lake. It was quiet around it and nothing but forest. Lucifer watched Sam turn off the car and get out. Again he followed Sam. Maybe he just needed some time to think, but Lucifer still. Couldn't shake this is feeling he had. Sam wouldn't do anything stupid, would he? Lucifer walked alongside him to the waters edge. Sam took a seat, sighing deeply. Lucifer sat next to him. They just looked at the Water. All was silent, till Lucifer heard the cock of a gun. Panic rang in Lucifers mind. Sam really wasn't gonna do this, he has too much to live for. He has a family and friends, sure things may not be the best but he can't give up now. Lucifer looks over and sees the gun in Sam's hand. His finger is on the trigger and he's just staring at it. Lucifer wanted to stop this, but he had to know, was Sam really gonna kill himself? He continued to look at Sam, eyes wide and full of fear, hurt, pain, sadness, anger. He watched it all, Sam whispering, "I'm sorry," him raising the gun, and then the bang.

Sam's POV

I sat there for a second, I didn't feel dead. I finally open my eyes, only to Lucifer Clutching the bullet that was supposed to be logged in my skull. I could see the pure rage in his eyes, but there were also tears there, and pain, lots of pain. I couldn't rip my eyes from his, even when my vision blurred, I just couldn't bring myself to look away.

"Sam what the fuck are you doing!"

I flinched at his voice. In truth I wasn't really sure what I was doing, I just wanted to make it all stop.
