Phil POV

The next few days I spent with Dan before he started Uni were amazing. I had yet to find something about him that annoyed me or just... wasn't amazing. I had helped him finish unpacking when the rest of his belongings arrived and then shown him around a bit, enjoying every moment of his company. Somehow we always found something to talk about, from TV shows we both liked to stupid arguments about who had a better fringe. And I kept wondering if this was what it felt like to have a best friend, someone who just got you, who would stand up for you if you got into trouble.

We had both avoided the subject of relationships, sensing that it just wasn't a good topic, until Dan walked in on me shirtless and questioned my tattoo.

I had gone to change my shirt after I spilt coffee down myself and had got distracted by the YouTube comments before I had managed to put a clean one on. Dan had come into my roomto ask me something and I had been sitting on my bed, shirtless with my back to the door.

"Phil, is it my turn to cook dinner or yours?" he had asked, poking his head round the door, before exclaiming, "Is that your tattoo? It's so cool!"

"It's your turn to cook. It is quite cool but it would be better if I could find my soulmate," I sighed, turning my head slightly to face Dan, "I thought I found her and then it turned out, when her tattoo appeared, that she was in love with some other guy and she had never loved me."

Dan winced, still studying my shoulder blade, "That sucks. Is that a llama?"

"I'm not sure if it's a llama or an alpaca but yeah, I guess?"

"I love llamas. I've never seen a tattoo like that. Does it hurt when your tattoo appears?"

"It just feels really tingly and weird. I keep forgetting that you're not 18 yet!"

"I'm 18 in a month so stop treating me like a child! What are you doing anyway?"

"Replying to YouTube comments and explaining to people that the funny noises in the background are my clumsy new roommate dropping things and not a ghost."

Dan laughed, sitting on the bed beside me to look at the comments over my shoulder.

"It's not funny, now everyone either wants to meet you or thinks you're my secret boyfriend."

Dan laughed even more, as I pulled faces at my laptop screen and the ridiculous comments.

"What are you doing tomorrow?"  I asked suddenly.

"Why, are you asking me on a date?" Dan joked, poking my tattoo lightly (I suddenly remembered I had no shirt on and pulled a T-shirt over my head.)

"No, I'm asking if you want to be in a video."

Dan's jaw dropped, "Are... are you serious? I mean... I'd love to be in one of your videos, but are you sure? I don't want to lose you subscribers."

"I'm sure. You'll probably gain me subscribers. You're naturally lovable," I joked tapping his cheek lightly, "You're like a big fluffy Winnie the Pooh."

"Excuse you," Dan yelled as he left the room to start making dinner, "I'll let you know that I am in fact Christopher Robin!"

"Sure," I teased, "You're clearly five years old and blonde."

"That would make you Eeyore! Grumpy and no fun!" Dan retorted.

I grinned standing up and grabbing my phone, "Now, now Dan, do I need to call your mum? I was told to call her if you caused any trouble or anything," I replied,  walking up to Dan and waving my phone in is face.

Dan raised an eyebrow at me, pulling out his phone. "I could just call your mum,  I was told to call if you were being mean to me," he countered, starting to scroll through his contacts.

I shook my head slightly, not quite sure if Dan was joking  or not but not wanting to take the chance, knowing that my mum would believe Dan over me.

"What food are you making?" I asked, seeing a pot on top of the cooker.

"Just potatoes and sausages, is that okay?"

"Of course! I make a point not to argue when someone else is cooking for me. Don't risk the food!"

I sat down at the table, texting my friends, "Hey, Dan?"

"Yeah?"

"My friends want to meet you and they were wondering if you want to go ten pin bowling tomorrow?"

"Sure, what time?"

"About 2? Don't worry, you don't need to get up early," I laughed, having quickly learned that Dan was not a morning person and didn't like getting up at all.

"Thank goodness. I really don't know how I'm going to get back into the routine of getting up for uni!"

I smiled, having just been thinking of the same thing.
