My flat is quiet tonight. It has been for a while now, so it's nothing all too new.
I grab my gallon of milk, some Reese's Puffs, a bowl and spoon, and I walk to my small bedroom.
I scroll through Netflix for a while until I settle on watching If I Stay.
About 30 minutes into the movie, when I'm honestly already crying because I know what's going to happen, my phone goes off. I don't know who would text me now, though.
When I check the text, the first thing I notice is that I don't recognize the number that texted me.
Your family died. Call me ASAP.
