Soon a boy with untamed blonde hair stepped into the room. His shocking blue eyes sent a chill through my body, but he had warm, welcoming smile. He waved, "Hi, I'm Elliot. You must be Jenny. You're probably wondering what's happening."
"Not at all. Don't worry," I said cheerfully.
He looked dazed for a second and said, "won't worry" and then shook his head a little and shut his eyes for a second and then acted as if nothing had happened. "Follow me but if you get dizzy just tell me and I'll help you back to the infirmary." He implied. I nodded and followed him out.
The scenery was beautiful, with dense forest and lush strawberry fields. 12 elaborate cabins sat in a U-formation, kind of like the Greek letter Omega, with about 7 others cabins off to the side. But what really caught my eye when we stepped outside were the people. So many people, just like me, living a semi-normal life, with friends and girlfriends or boyfriends and people who cared for them.
I itched to have people respect me, regard me even in the slightest. Never had anyone even payed the slightest amount of attention to me unless it was to say something degrading or tight-fisted.
Here, people waved at me, even though they didn't even know who I was. They must have known I was new. I felt so incorporated and included. I liked it here. Now all I had to was find out who my godly parent was, make friends (maybe even a boyfriend ;) <3), and join the crowd and I would have the life if always aspired for.

A/N as you can tell I really valued my vocabulary in this chapter XD
