School isn't the place to be

Scarlet's POV

I yawned and leaned back in my seat as I listened to the new science teacher talk. She was young and beautiful, but no one could ever measure up to my Sapphire. I yawned again and she looked at me.

"Is my lesson boring you Scarlet?" Miss Cooper asked me.

"No ma'am." I replied.

"Then I suggest you sit up. And while you're at it, wake up Anastasia too." She said and continued her lesson.

I looked over at my innocent princess and smiled when I noticed she really was asleep. I kissed her cheek and then took her notes so I could copy them down for her. When the bell finally rang, scaring Ana again in the process, Miss Cooper called for Ana to stay back. I kissed her head and told her I would be right outside the door and that I wasn't leaving her.

I walked out with Jaelyn and Steph and watched as Jaelyn walked towards Aurora. They hugged each other and then Jaelyn walked with her to English. Steph had run off to find Rowen again. I sighed and waited for Ana to walk out.

"Where's the little virgin girl?"

I looked to my right and sighed, "What do you want Rebecca?"

"You know what I want, Scar." She says, wrapping her arms around my neck.

I smirk, "No I don't. Want to tell me?"

"I want you back baby." She says, kissing my neck.

"Still not over me?" I asked.

"I'll never get over you." She said before sucking on my neck.

"Yeah well, my girlfriend should be coming out any second now. So let go." I said, pushing her off of me.

"Text you later baby." Becca smiled and kissed me lightly.

"Maybe." I smirked.

I watched her walk away and then sighed again. Come on Ana. The door finally opened and Ana walked out. I smiled at her and we walked to English. I glanced at Becca as we walked by and she winked at me.

Isn't there a saying that goes, 'once a player, always a player'?

I sat down in my seat next to Ana and smiled at her. She looked so upset. I wonder why.

"Babe?" I asked.

"What?" She asked.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said.

"Okay. I love you." I said.

"I love you too." She said.

I looked at her and then Miss Benson said that we were gonna be working in partners for the class. I got excited, who doesn't love working with partners?

"The partners are Jay and Aurora, Scarlet and Becca-" I didn't care what came after that as I looked over at Becca. Oh no.

We got in our partners and Becca smirked at me, "I guess it's just fate."

"I guess so. You look good today." I smiled.

"Thanks baby." She grinned.

"No problem. Now how about we start working on this paper?" I asked.

"Why not start working on us?" She asked.

"What?" I asked.

"Come on. Ana's not good enough for you. You and I would look amazing together." She smiled.
