He raced through the wind to join the other boys. He tried to chase them down to tell Peter about the plan. He kept calling out, but the boys flew wild,
"Peter! Wait guys! Hold on! P-Peter!"
Jake had to fly as fast as he could to keep up. He finally reached Peter and grabbed onto his shirt.
"Hey Jake! What's the big deal?" Peter said shrugging him off.
"Sorry, I just...really need to tell you something. It's important, but keep flying as we go." Jake said keeping a close watch on the ground for any movement.
"A-and keep smiling, like your having a good time." Then Jake flew around in happy circles for a moment. Peter just stared at him as if he was the weirdest thing ever.
"Follow my lead..." Jake said through smiling teeth. Peter did nothing, "Please!" Jake added. Peter started to go along with Jake. Peter, Jake, and the lost boys flew around, played, and laughed. Each time Jake and Peter got close to each other, Jake would tell him another part of Hook's evil plan.
"So, he seriously wants to kill me?" Peter said with a forced smile, but worry in his eyes, "And he wants you to do it?"
"Yep!" Jake said sarcastically.
"You aren't going to kill me though...right?" Peter said nervously grinning.
"C'mon Peter! You know me. Of course not!"
Peter put on a proud smile, "Right! Of course not! Who would want to kill me?" He said in his Peter Pan pose. Jake smiled and rolled his eyes, "But we need to save Izzy!'
"Alright. You have a plan?" Peter said determinedly.
"Well...uh...no actually. I was hoping we could just...you know...wing it."
"Oh, okay. Those are the best kind of plans anyway! Let's do it! C'mon boys! We've got a pirate to save!"
