Jake took the knife and after many tries, straining against the ropes, he was able to cut his hands free. Jake cut the lost boys loose as well and he started on the large rope that was holding them all together.
Meanwhile, some pirates were taunting Peter while others were gathering scum, waste, and leftover codfish stew to summon the giant octopus that lived in the Never Sea. Captain Hook wanted this to be a grand affair. He ordered some of his pirates to clean the entire ship. He went and got his best coat on along with his fanciest hat and hook. Smee groomed Hook's hair and mustache to the best of his ability. While his hair was being combed, the captain was thinking of terrible things to make Peter's last breath unbearable.
He thought of all the dangerous sea creatures in the Never Sea. They already had the octopus, the crocodile liked Peter too much, but what about the sharks. Never sharks were ferocious and deadly. They were lured by the tiniest drop of blood.
Wait.
That's an idea.
Hook grinned with pleasure. He was going to get the sharks.
