Hook burst from his cabin looking as fine as he ever did. He marched right up to Peter, who was leaning against the side of the ship.

"Get up boy!" Hook snapped. Peter didn't budge. Hook called a pirate over, who snatched up the boy roughly by his arm. Hook leered at Peter, while unsheathing his sword and pointing it at him. The world seemed dead right then. Nothing moved. Not a wave, nor a creature, nor wind. Hook took his sword and sliced Peter arm. Peter gave a surprised cry and blood started to slide down his arm. The cut wasn't too bad, but it was deep enough to give blood. Hook swiped the drops of blood onto his sword, walked down the plank, and dipped his sword down so that the blood dripped into the water. Not long after, three tiger sharks swam around the Jolly Roger. Hook looked so satisfied, like nothing could possibly go wrong.

Jake knew that this was it. He pulled as hard as he could on the last of the rope. The Lost Boys gathered all the little weapons they had. Jake gave one last lurch and cut the rope. They all charged on spot. Jake headed straight for Peter.
