*Note: A little added effect. Hope it works for y'all. I absolutely love this version of the song and I hope it hits you feelings like it did mine! Once the "actual song" starts playing, I sugest you start reading the letter. It makes it more emotional :)*

Peter Pan was relaxing in his hammock playing his pan pipes when he looked over and saw a floating letter being carried by a staggering little light.

"Tink? Is that you?"

 A little bell answered back.

"Whatcha got there?"

The bell sounded again.

"A letter for me, eh? From whom?"

Tinkling sound.

"Jake and Izzy? Weird. Okay then, I'll play along." He shrugged as he took the note and opened it.

Dear Peter,

I bet you never expected a letter huh? We thought it might be appropriate though. You see, we have decided to leave Neverland...probably forever. As much as we hate to admit it, we've grown up since we left the first time. I know we promised we would never grow up but, time has a way of changing things. We missed the mainland and longed to start a new life there. We just didn't feel very at home here anymore. I guess that trip for five years really changed us.

We've already said goodbye to all our friends. Many of them tearful. We know you've never liked saying goodbye but sometimes, we need to say goodbye. Like we said, we will probably be gone forever. We don't think Neverland will let us back in. As you know, grown ups are not allowed back into Neverland.

We want to thank you for all the times you've been a hero to us and you will always be that hero forever. This will maybe be the last time we even see you, but don't worry, we will NEVER forget. We will always know that Neverland is here at that second star to the right.

Love,

Jake and Izzy

Peter's expressions had changed from horror to even more horror and finally to sadness and disappointment. As much as he loved his friends and wanted them to be happy, he couldn't bear saying goodbye.

His eyes became moist, but he bit his lip hard and brushed them away like they had never been there.

"Fine! If that's the way they want it, then I don't care!"

He kicked the dirt and took off flying out the tree and up into the sky, then looked at the letter that he still had in his hand, "Well...they did say they would never forget. I guess I'll hold them up to that." He chuckled and looked to the horizon, "Bye guys...it's been fun."

Then Peter Pan flew off the find a new adventure.
