Chapter 2: Tyr of the Seven Star Hotel

Jormungand and Hel came inside the seven star hotel.

“Umm… why do you want to check in to room 666?” The lady receptionist said to Hel.

“I find the number, interesting.” Hel replied with a gentle smile.

Jormungand became impatient. He began walking to the receptionist who began blushing, and mouth gaping at him.

“LISTEN, YOU INSIGNIFICANT MORTAL, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO DEFY THE RULER OF NIFFLEHEIM!?” Jormungand shouted gaining some intriguing looks from the tourists.

Hel hit Jormungand’s head. Then dragged him away from the people.

“Jormungand, what do you think you’re doing!? How can one of the best people become embarrassing so easily!?”

“She is not respecting you!” Jormungand said. “You are the Queen of the Dead. The only one in the world who can control the dead!”

“There’s Hades, Osiris, Izanami, Yama and… that isn’t the point!!” Hel said as a vein pop in her head. “Act normally, okay?”

Jormungand nodded. “Aren’t you respected anymore.”

Hel looked down. “None of us are respected anymore. The world have forgotten who we are. Say Hel right now and the thing that’d come to mind is hell. The world of the damned.”

Jormungand laid a hand on Hel’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, I know what to do in this kind of situations.”

“Did it involve swallowing her whole?”

Jormungand nodded and Hel facepalmed.

The two make their way back to the receptionist, Jormungand saw an average-looking man wooing a girl, by sweet words, and the girl inclined. He can hear it, with his super snake hearing and sight.

“Umm…is the Room 666 still vacant.”

“That room is filled with ghosts, or so they say.”

“No problem for me.” Hel smiled gently, that one of the male receptionist blushed.

“Hey.” Jormungand said. Hel looked and her eyes narrowed. Jormungand’s hand was raising his bangs, one of his eyes closed, his collared shirt has all three buttons unbuttoned, smiling a devious sexy smile to the lady receptionist.

“Jormungand, What…are…you…doing?” Hel said angrily and stopped at each words like she was trying to hold herself.

“HERE IT IS!” The Lady receptionist said, while her eyes were heart shaped. She was holding the keys, and Jormungand took it. “That took easier than I thought… I haven’t used the pick up lines yet.”

Hel dragged Jormungand to Room 666, while the receptionist hyperventilated and fainted.

Hel immediately saw the spirits. She dismissed them all to leave. She noticed a girl, a spirit, crying.

“Hel, that isn’t obeying you.” Jormungand said.

Hel gently went to the spirit and knelt with it. “Why are you crying?”

“I can’t find mama and papa.” The girl said.

“What’s your name?”

“Aruka Shishi.” Jormungand stepped forward. The girl was cute, has ghostly blue hair, skin and eyes. She was wearing a kindergarten uniform.

“Did she die early?” Jormungand said.

Hel smiled. “We’ll find them, they might be in Niffleheim.”
