Chapter 11: Return of the Light of Asgard
Alexander opened his eyes, and saw his white coat and dress pants ready, and a bright yellow dress shirt to come with it. He rubbed his face, which was hit pretty much by Hel’s fists.
“Good, you’re awake, we’ll be leaving in an hour.” Alex’s jaw dropped. Hel was sitting in the couch, her porcelain legs easily seen from her black and purple gown, she didn’t even wear make-up. But she was already stunning. “What are you drooling at, Ale—I mean, Baldr. I need to get used on calling you Baldr, in Asgard that’s what I should call you.”
He nodded, still not used to the ‘Baldr’ thing. He sighed and stood up. The door opened, which put Jormungand into view, Alex--- Baldr feeling a bit insecure.
The man was dressed up smartly in black coat and pants, with a snake green dress shirt, gold necklace the shape of a snake, and his usually messy green hair was even messier. He’s the typical bad boy.
“Get ready now, Baldr.” He crossed his arms and gave Baldr a snakeskin belt. “That will be our communication device in case we need to split up.”
Baldr nodded and stripped. Hel screamed and kicked his gut before walking outside cursing and ranting.
“My abs…” He held his six-pack as the shape of Hel’s high heels was still there.
Jormungand sighed. “Stripping in front of my sister is a big ‘no’.” He said with an unnerving glare from his red slitted eyes.
“Sorry.” He apologized. Arguing with the Midgard Serpent won’t do anything good. After he was done, he didn’t comb his hair. It was already perfect when it’s tousled. “Perfect doesn’t need improvement” was his motto.
He peeked out of the door and looked around. Hel and Midgarsorm was nowhere to be seen. “Weird… They should be outside…” He stepped and looked down, where he saw that he was stepping in a deep abyss. He screamed and closed the door.
“What was that!?”
Meanwhile, Jormungand and Hel were waiting outside the door.
“What’s taking so long, idiot!?” Hel screamed from outside.
Baldr heard this. “You’re outside. No, abyss?”
“What are you talking about, get out this instant!!” She yelled.
Baldr opened the door slowly, and Hel’s jaw dropped. She looked away from Baldr, who’s eyes seemed even bluer, if that’s still possible.
“This was an abyss a while ago.” Baldr knelt on one knee and touched the floor with his fingers.
“Abyss? There was no such happening as the one you said.” Jormungand replied, tapping his foot in the wooden floor.
“You’re just imagining things.” Hel rolled her eyes. They walked down. In the way, they talked about the strategy.
“Baldr, I want you to use your loved status, to squeeze information from Freya and Frigg. Frigg’s technically your ‘Mom’ so she’ll tell you anything.” Hel said. “Jormungand, I have calculated that you of all people will have the most spectators, it was a rare sight to see the Midgard Serpent out of the water. Thor will surely be there.”
Jormungand nodded. “Don’t worry, I’ll distract them. What are you gonna be doing?”
“I will blend into the shadows to sneak into Fenrir’s prison, and free him, in case Al---Baldr wasn’t able to squeeze infos on those two girls.”
