Chapter 5: The God Baldr Awakened!
Hel turned to see Fenrir, indeed, but something was there in his voice.
Cunning, treachery.
“This is your brother, the one we want to save?” Alexander backed off.
“You…How are you alive!?” Fenrir shouted.
“You are the one who made Alexander die!? The one who hired that stupid Freyr?!” Hel said, her hands had swirling black energy in it.
“I had no such dealings with the King of Alfheim.” Fenrir said, aiming his chainsaw.
Elves came rushing to the scene, their face blank. “Though I got his beloved subjects.”
“Why brother, how did you escape?”
“Huh? This? None of your business.” Fenrir slashed with his chainsaw.
As quick as lighning, bones gathered in front of Hel. The chainsaw kept cutting its way to the shield.
As the chainsaw has cut through, Hel threw a small black marble, Fenrir evaded and it hit the wall which crumbled.
“Will you really fight me, sister?” Fenrir said cockily. “Come on, show me tricks! I love tricks.”
Hel looked at Fenrir. Her brother hated tricks. He hated it because of…
“You’re starting to sound like our father.” Hel said.
Fenrir smiled. “I idolized our father to no end.”
“From the day you were born?”
“Yes-” Fenrir said and started evading the dark purple flames thrown at him.
“Are you who I think you are!?” Hel said.
“Of course I am…” Fenrir said. But it was a mirage, the real deal was now on Hel’s front. Hel tumbled back as Fenrir’s fist hit her in the face. “Hel, I know you are no one for close combat!”
Hel struggled to keep her feet.
“HEL!” Alexander shouted.
Fenrir turned to Alexander. “I had made so many crimes before, but was the greatest was killing you. Now, you are reincarnated, I must kill you again.” Fenrir stabbed Alexander which he evaded, Alexander kicked Fenrir in the gut, which seemed useless.
Hel shot a purple shot lined with black lightning at Fenrir which he evaded gracefully.
“Why, why Hel.” Alexander helped Hel to her feet, smiling brightly.
“S-Shut up!!” Hel blushed.
“Hey, lovebirds.” Fenrir’s hair started changing, the roots were light orange, his pale skin became a bit flushed, red eyes reflected like a flame. Handsome face, lean body and a cunning smile. His chainsaw set ablaze.
“Father, I knew it.” Hel said.
“Father?” Alexander asked Hel.
“My father, The God of Mischief, Evil, Chaos, Trickery and Fire. Loki.” Hel said. “Why did you disguise as Fenrir?”
Loki did not answer, instead he charged at Alexander with his chainsaw. The chainsaw went haywire and stopped midway.
Alexander looked at the chainsaw, ‘I had sworn not to harm you.’ It seemed to talk in his mind.
“Useless trash!” Loki threw away the chainsaw, and proceeded to fight Alexaner head on.
Hel touched a shadow, and mended a whip out of it. She whipped Loki. Loki looked back at Hel.
“YOU!” Loki threw fire balls at Hel, which she countered using her dark violet flames.
Father and Daughter begin to fight. Alexander knelt in pain. Something wanted to be free, he could feel it in his gut. He doubled over, growled, and his eyes glowed white, his mouth spewed light, his whole body began to glow blinding light. Loki and Hel covered their eyes.
When the light died out, Loki wasn’t there to be seen. Hel rushed to Alexander’s limp body, he was unconscious, she knew. More light emitted out of Alex again, Hel blinked, the light died again and revealed another Alexander, taller, and more muscular, but same face, hair and eyes.
“Hello, Hel.”
“Who-”
“You’re father killed me by tricking my brother, Hodr into using the mistletoe to kill me.”
“Baldr? But how...”
“The Aesir can only be killed by one method, by beheading or hitting them in the head with something that can kill.”
“And now, you are…”
“Yes, reincarnated into this boy… oh, he’s starting to lose control, I have to go.”
“Wait, is he really Freya’s son!?”
“No, a part of your father’s tricks.” He smiled one last smiled then faded into the light.
Hel was left there with Alexander’s unconscious body. Baldr. The God of Light. The god most loved of all. Appeared in front of one of the most hated goddess. Hel looked at the peaceful sleeping boy. “Baldr…Alex…”
