Chapter 4: Mystery of the Ghastly Chainsaw

Two females were walking in the hallways near Room 666. There, was where the duo of drop dead gorgeous boys, was living.

“Are you sure it’s somewhere around here, I can’t see the Room 666 itself…”

GRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRR!

“W-what is that sound!?” One of the females asked.

“A chainsaw!” One of the females shrieked. Floating right in front of Room 642, is a chainsaw.

The two females shrieked in terror, but it was too late. Blood splattered down the hallways.

A shadow crept in the two decapitated girls.

“Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.” It said and it vanished along with the floating chainsaw.

Krring! The alarm clock’s sound rang in the whole giant lit room of the number 666.

“Ah… Two more days till our brother’s execution.” Jormungand said, heading to the bathroom.

“Wake up, Alexander, we have a mystery to solve!” Hel said.

“10 more minutes.” The blond said rolling and putting a pillow over his head.

Hel glared. She stepped at his head. “Wake up. I felt two souls dying yesterday, arriving to Niffleheim. Garm has me informed that this two were ‘Claire Allison – 23 years old’ and ‘Whitney King – 22 years old’.”

“What’s our connection in there… I had spent my whole night trying to find out who the sillhoutted girls are, please get me some rest.”

“You are a useless servant.” Hel crossed her arms. “The problem is those two happened to be connected to us. First connection, they are looking for Room 666. Second connection, they were brutally torn to unrecognizable bits. Third connection, Odin has forbidden mortals to enter the rooms 600 – 699, a god must invite someone to come in this floor so they could pass through.

Fourth connection, both of them, wear a black wolf pelt fur.”

Jormungand went out of the baths only in a towel. “Hel, I’ll be spying on Tyr, right now. Alexander, Hel and Aruka, as the eldest, I will task the three of you to solve this case.” He opened his red eyes. “The Mystery of the Ghastly Chainsaw.”

Alexander finally rose up on bed, rubbing his eyes.

Hel stood up. “Jormungand, I heard Tyr has a way to enter Bifrost without even trying to call Heimdall.”

“That’s a bit unfair for a god who symbolized law and order.” Jormungand said. “Suspicion that he maybe the one behind the framing of big brother is raised to 50%”

“A half of it?” Alexander yawned.

“Yes, that’s how much we suspect Tyr. The one next was Frigg or Freya. The third one was Big Brother himself.”

“Big Brother?!”

“Hel, big brother Fenrir’s suspicion percentage did not exceed 10%.”

“We can’t scratch the fact because he hates them.”

“So I’ll be taking my leave.” Jormungand winked at Hel and Alexander.

An awkward moment of silence. Hel and Alexander’s silence was broken by Aruka’s “neechan” and “niichan” cries.

The two of them stood then began walking the hallway. No one was awake yet, so they saw the crime scene. Blood red was the color of a whole area of the hallway. There were some flesh, cloth and organs thrown everywhere.

“Hm. This might be one of those cases that the monster got tamed.” Hel said while walkng at the human  wreckage.

“Too bad we don’t have a video to find out who did it to them.” Alexander said sitting on a chair.

Several clicks in Hel’s head.

“Alex, you’re… n-not as stupid as I think!!” Hel said, looking away while blushing.

“Huh?” Alexander scratched his head.

Hel stepped back, spread her hands, and chanted.

“Spirits, answer me and heed my call,

Rise and tell me the one who made you fall,

Tell me who brought you to this mess

All information, no more, no less!”

Two smoky figures appeared, both wearing ghostly clothing, pure white eyes, and they levitated.

“Our Queen, it is a black haired boy” One said.

“Yellow eyes like a wolf’s” Two said.

“He seemed to be followed by elves.” One said.

“He is very handsome.” Two said.

The two ghosts disappeared. Hel frowned. “Fenrir? How could that be?”

“Why if it isn’t Hel… long time no see.” Hel and Alexander turned, and in front of them the murderer with a chainsaw, stepped out of the shadows.
