The Quiet One

Chapter 2: Collin

       "Bro, hurry up. I'm not trying to have Mr. Rivers on my ass about being late to his class." Asher had been rushing me to hurry since they walked into the school. Then they started down the hall "Hey let's make this year interesting," my friend Calvin said with a grin. "Go on man" Asher said without taking his eyes off his phone. "A bet?", both Asher and I were focused on Calvin now. "What are we 3rd grade?" Asher said looking down at his phone again. "I bet Collin can't take some girl's virginity." I looked up pissed about Calvin's dumb request. "Shut up Cal!" I said while shoving him. "What you scared, nervous, or cause you're still a virgin too?" I could felt my cheeks burn from embarrassment and rolled his eyes "alright, bet. Give me a girl." When walking down a row of lockers and classrooms Calvin pointed my girl out. "ELIZABETH BROOKS?!" I whispered as they walked by. Asher laughed so hard he couldn't breathe "Cal stop, c'mon man I'm going to cry."

         Asher and I had their first two periods together so they walked down the hall as Calvin made a left into a class. When they walked into class Asher and I made our way to the back since they did not like Mr. Rivers' class. On my way to the back I noticed Elizabeth sitting there next to an empty desk and he took his spot. I was a bit nervous to talk to her at first but he knew he didn't want to look like a fool in front of Asher so he made his move. "Hey, Elizabeth right?" she whispered back sounding a bit irritated "yes." Trying to make small talk he then said something so stupid and immature "by the way I'm Collin ." Then she raised her hand so fast and asked to use the bathroom. When she left he thought of how he was an idiot. When she never came back to class he got worried, if she was alright.
        

         So when the bell rang he rushed out of class to find her in the hallway looking worried, but when he got over to her to ask what happened she collapsed in his arms and then  wrapping her arms around his neck and putting his arm under her knees he carried her to the nurse.
