I can't believe Elizabeth was talking to that piece of no life shit. He was an ass and didn't want anything other than sex from her and I didn't want her to get hurt. But she didn't see it that way.

"Why are you so jealous?" kept replaying in my head. Me? Jealous of Trash Stephans! Hell no. She didn't know that I cared about her.

I walked to my locker to get my things instead of lingering around like any other day. Asher and I were going with Elizabeth and her friend to the mall. Not like I liked going to the Mall but I know Asher likes Teresa, and would want any chance to hang with her.

I got to my locker and seen Abigail Richmond standing there smiling when she saw me walking towards her.

"Hey Collin!" she said searching the halls.

"Hey Abigail, excuse me can I get to my locker?" I said as nicely as I can with a smile.

She didn't budge. "So are you to my party Friday night?"

"I don't know. I didn't hear about it." I said shrugging.

"Well you can come now that you know about it huh?" She said twirling her blonde hair and grabbing my hand.

I pulled away. "I really need to go, I have somewhere to be. Move!"

Just as I finished that sentence Elizabeth ran passed me with the most hurt look in her eyes. Then Abigail rolled her eyes and started laughing. Then Asher ran after her yelling her name. I pushed past Abigail and ran to see what was going on. As I jogged through the double doors leading to the parking lot I heard Asher saying something to Elizabeth but she was ignoring him. Then she ran up to a car and was about to jump in.

"ELIZABETH!" I yelled.

I noticed a tearing shriek down her face and had to know what was wrong. Why was she crying? Was it that douche Troy? Then I started running as fast as I could to get to her but the car she jumped into zoomed out of the parking spot and I yelled her name once more before they were gone.

*********
I called Teresa after I got her number from Asher's sources, Elizabeth wasn't answering any of my calls and I was getting worried. I dialed the number:

Teresa: Hello?
Collin: Teresa! Thank god you answered. What's wrong with Elizabeth?
Teresa: Collin? Idk she wouldn't tell me. I just came in my car crying and told me to drive.
Collin: What the .. Where is she now?
Teresa: We were going to go to the mall but I just dropped her off home and told her to call me if anything.
Collin: Okay thanks!

I hung up and raced to Elizabeth's house calling her on the way but still no answer. As I pulled up the driveway there were no cars there which meant she'd be home alone. I got out of my car. I walked up the porch and knocked. No answer. I turned the knob and the door opened. Why would Elizabeth leave the door unlocked? I looked around the house and noticed
her back on the floor leading upstairs. I slowly closed the door and heard sobbing. I ran up the stairs and tried to follow the sobs. As I walked closer to them now the only thing blocking the view of them was a door. I opened the door with precaution and found Elizabeth crotched on the tile bathroom floor with a blade in her hand, her eyes staring down at her arms.

I don't think I had experienced this much shock in my entire life. I raced over to her closing the door behind me and tried to carefully get the blade out of her hand. I knew if I fought with her she could cut herself trying to stop me. She looked up and seen me. She let out a cry when she saw the look on my face. She tried to turn away but my arms wrapped around her body and her head instantly fell into my chest.
Right then I took the blade out of her hands placing it on the sink. She shook in my arms her sobs filling the room. I whispered "It's okay" repeatedly hoping it would be. Once her breathing started slowing down I looked down and notice a bruise on her neck. I felt my blood boil at the thought of someone hurting her. She then tried to push away but I wasn't going to let her go. Then she finally spoke

" Collin, I-I -I. Wh-What are you doing here?" she choked.
"Sh, don't speak," I muttered.
" I'm such an idiot!" she said.
"No! You are not an idiot! Don't you ever say that." I said stern.
"You can't like fat, ugly, stupid girls like me," she whispered in my shirt.
"What are you talking about Elizabeth?" I heard my tone get hard.
"That's why he does those things to me because I can't make anyone else but him happy." she cried.
" What things? Who does these things to you Elizabeth?" I could feel my heart beating faster.
"Frank, he touches me and hits me... He does things because I make him feel better," she whispered again.

I carried her out the bathroom and into the room I think is hers. It was purple and had a picture of her and Teresa sitting together on a desk. I slowly lay her in bed and waited for her to finish this 'Frank'. But she stayed quiet and was shaking. I put covers around her and held her close to my chest to keep her warm. And that's when I heard her slow breathing and I thought she was asleep. I grabbed her phone and left a message. I got up and she woke up.

" Collin, please don't ?" she said sleepily.

" Do you want me to stay?" I said quietly eyeing her.

She shook her head and reached for my hand.

" Please don't leave me." she croaked as I leaned back into her bed to lay next to her.

" I won't leave you," I said staring right into her beautiful hazel eyes.

Then I leaned over and kissed her without thinking but she kissed me back. Soon she fell asleep in my arms again and this time when I got up to leave before her family came home and found me in her bed, she stayed asleep. I drove home with only one thing on my mind. Her.

Hay! I know this chapter revealed a lot. Like how they both have feelings for each other but will Collin forget the bet that was made? Or will he do it to look like the man? Comment anytime and I hope you enjoyed😋
