A Break from Reality
I always ask
Why is it things are like these
Then I realized, maybe it's just the way it is
Still, I'm confused.
Damned,
My hair has never been my crowning glory
I have always been the one saying sorry
Broken,
Always the one loving
But also the one who end up hurting
Rejected,
Giving things a damn try
Only to return a meek cry
Confused,
Seeking unquestionable answers
For unanswerable questions
Tired,
Of making things work
And how I will work that out
Afraid,
To fight and stand tall
To be loved, even once and for all
About to give up,
But I should be strong
I need to be strong
This journey is still long
Maybe things are like these,
Confusing
I don't know, maybe.
Still, it boggles my mind
Call this an escape or
Whatever you like--
Atleast for this once,
I break free
From reality
From being me.
