I woke up to a clatter coming from the kitchen. I sighed
"Tyler, you dickhead" I said to myself and got up. I wrapped my dressing gown round me and bombed down the stairs to see Tyler on the floor picking up all my pots and pans from the floor. I couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Hey sis" he said as he looked at me. "I was gonna make you breakfast in bed but.. Well, yeah" he added and gestured to the mess on the floor. I smiled
"Don't worry 'bout it, nice thought though" I told him. He smiled in response. I helped him clean up then we went to livingroom and talked.
"She kicked you out?" I asked
"Yeah, after your great performance, I might say, and our conversation after that" he told me
"What'd she say?" I asked.
"Commented on the way you dressed and the whole thing about dissing her religion-"
"-I didn't" I interupted in sing-song
"Yeah exactly, but she then went on and said about the whole drinking and swearing thing and I told her I do like to do that and that's when she said it was over" he explained. "You know, thanks sis, for opening my eyes to her, she wasn't right for me" he added. I smiled
"I never meant to do that intentionally"
"I don't care, I'm glad you did" he replied. There was a small silence
"You got a job?" I asked. He shook his head
"Not anymore" he added
"Oh my god, you worked for her?!" I asked. He nodded his head shyly
"Jesus" I mumbled to myself. Ironic. "Well, I can see if I can get you a job at the garage I'm working at?" I suggested. His face brightened
"Sure thing, I'll go get ready" he said and lept off the sofa.
"Don't be taking ages in the bathroom! I need to get in there!" I shouted up the stairs to him to here him laugh in response.

Eventually, we were ready. I locked up the house and turned around to see Tyler sliding over the hood of my car
"I'm driving!" He said from the drivers side of my car
"Well, I have the keys, so..." I replied and jingled them about in the tips of my fingers.
"Well, if you give me the keys, then we won't have a problem" he added. I laughed
"And what are you gonna do, tough guy?" I asked as I came round to the drivers side. All of sudden, he grabbed me under my right thigh and lifted me up to smash me down onto the hood but he caught my head before it hit it. His face was close to mine and he was leaning over the hood towards me.
"That" he whispered and took the keys from hand. I laughed at him
"You've won the battle but you won't win the war" I replied and rode shotgun instead.
We laughed most of the way there, because his laugh made me laugh, and my laugh made him laugh. Never ending cycle really. We pulled into the garage and parked up.
"Just to let you know, I've never really spoken to anyone here other than my boss, I was pretty distant from everyone because of what happened back in Cala" I explained to him. He nodded and smiled a reassuring smile. We got out and my boss, Tony came over.
"Hi, Elena, how are you today?" He asked. He was really sweet.
"I'm good, are you?" I replied
"Yeah yeah, who's this?" He asked as he looked Tyler up and down. It was only then I noticed what he was wearing. He had a what tank top, some old denim jeans and some sandy yellow steel top caped boots. He looked like a lost builder.
