I wriggled in the bed, stretching my arms wide and opened my eyes to wonderful light streaming in through my window. The bird were chirping happily and that made me happy, kinda cheesy but it was the truth.

Until I realised.

One. I wasn't in my own house.

Two. This was Marks? House no, it's Michael..no no. That's not right...

Three. This place was freakin huge and I had no one to show me around.

Four. Crap. I was alone...in a mansion...horror story weighting to happen...

Shaking my head, I sunk more into the pillows until the growling of my stomach forced me to get up and wander around the house hopelessly for a kitchen.

"Are you lost?"

I screamed, tumbling over my own feet and head butting someone standing directly in front of me.

"Ouch, ugh..kinda..." I giggled nervously.

"You must be Emily. Sir spoke about you, told us to take care of you but not to eat you. To be polite." The girl said, smiling brightly at me with dazzling teeth.

"You're a vampire?" I questioned stupidly.

She giggled and sniffed the air "And you're a human...and an AB negative at that. Rare..."

I backed away slightly, freaked out by her glazed over eyes.

"Are, are you ok?" I questioned, silently stepping back a few paces more.

Her eyes zapped to mine and she smiled once again.

"Fine" she said groggily "I'll show you the way to the kitchen."

With that she turned and silently walked down the never ending corridor.

Eventually we made it to the kitchen, the extravagant looking kitchen at that. Marble worktops. A double oven, a pizza thing, microwave, a stove, you get it. Everything a kitchen needs and more.

"What would you like to eat?"

I jumped out of my seat landing with a thump.

Grabbing my head I sighed "Look, I know your a vampire an all but I'm a human, I dot have super hearing so, DONT SNEAK UP ON ME YOU TWAT!" I roared.

The boy in front of me had a white apron on, with perfect tousled hair kept back from his face an blue gloves on his hands.

"I apologise miss, now back to the original question. What would you like to eat. For breakfast that is." The man asked again.

I rolled my eyes "Why is everyone in this place so formal?" I whispered to myself "Um, have you got fresh strawberries?" I questioned, raising my eyes to the mans face.

"I do believe" he replied , not giving a single smile.

"You know what, I'm just gona say it" I smiled, standing up to meet his gaze. "Listen up you snooty cow, I don't care for your tone. I'm a guest in this house and I don't think Mark would care for your attitude ether so cut the crap because I've been nothing but nice, I'll make my own breakfast. So you can get out my face." I said, giving him a sweet smile and a gesture to move out my way.

Once he moved I began to make breakfast, once I had searched through every cabinet.

I grinned to myself. Pancakes.

Once I had ate my breakfast I took a quick bath and got changed into more comfortable clothes.

Taking my phone out of my pocket I called my mom.

"Hello honey, how was your morning?" She questioned, stuffing a yawn in there somewhere.

"It was ok I guess. The staff kinda creeps me out but, that doesn't matter. Not while I called. I was calling to ask about school. What's happening because I have a year an a half left so you tell me what I'm doing. Should I make a few calls or what?" I questioned.

"Well honey, you need to wait until all your files have been transferred over hear which could be a few weeks or so. So what I suggest is to wait and when the files arrive take them to school. Ok?" She suggested.

"Ok mum, thanks." I replied and hung up, stuffing the phone back into my pocket.

I sighed and leaned back on the couch.

My life was much more exciting when I lived in an all boys school.

A cough interrupted my from my thoughts, drawing my attention to the stunning looking girl standing in front of me.

"Um, hi," I smiled nervously "I'm-"

"Emily, yes I know, sir spoke of you very often with the woman he was always with. Miss lift me with a list for you. I have been informed that whole you do these things I should look over you." The girl smiled, cupping her hands in front if her.

I read over the list quickly.

Food shopping, clothes shopping and a visit with old friends.

She left me with her chores.

I slumped over the piece of thin lined paper. Letting a huff pass my lips.

"When do we start?" I questioned.

"Now."

Turns out, I really hated shopping with a maid that worked for my moms boyfriend. Ugh, Mark.

"What exactly are we shopping for, Daisy?" I questioned.

In the half an hour drive I spent with Daisy in the limo, I had gotten to know her. She was a perky, red headed, Irish girl, that apparently loved chocolate and giraffes.

She had the classic red hair and bright olive green eyes of an Irish woman, pale skin that was covered in many freckles. Perfectly shaped eyebrows, long perfect lashes, full lips and perfectly white, and strait teeth. She was very small in size but she packed quite a temper.

Her hypnotising eyes zapped to mine and her mouth spread up into a girlish grin. "Well, sir said that he was hosting a business dinner at the new art gallery in Rio this weekend, as he asked me personally to take you shopping for something thin but not slutty since Rio is meant to be hot this time." Daisy replied.

My eyebrows furrowed. Pressing my lips into a thin line I hesitated before asking "Isn't Mar- 'Sir' a business partner with my mom at a local business team?" I questioned.

This time it was Daisy's turn to look confused.

"No, sir works with the gangster squad assassino immortale, translated immortal assassin. He's the business manager. He collects the data for the hits, covers the murders, supplies weaponry."

I say frozen to my seat, my mouth gapping open.

"My moms dating an assassin?" I questioned stupidly.

Her eyebrows crossed again "Miss, she is sirs right hand man, or rather woman."
