"Huh?" I looked up from my fertile position, covered in dirt and rain, as I looked at the person that stood above me, holding an umbrella. "Oh, she's simply not on the list at all!" A, guy's voice I think, said, as I looked at them.
"Hello there, we were sent here, even though we're recruits, because the Association said there was a person that was not registered at all, no matter what book they looked through." The guy with the black hair explained, pushing up his glasses.
"So tell me, what are you?" The guy with the short red hair leaned down to my face as I shrunk back, a little scared. "A...demon." I said, my scratchy voice hurting my throat as my stomach growled again. "Aw, a poor starving demon."
The red hair poked my cheek, as I shrank back. "We might as well take her back to the Association to see what they'll do to her." Black-hair said, as red-hair clicked his tongue and grabbed my arm.
"Let's go, brat." A portal opened as they stepped through it, dragging me along.
"Look...It must be that.." "The non-existent person..." ".....Demon...?"
I looked nervously at all the people that had glasses on as I was brought in to a different room. So this is her right? What is your name, demon?" The people at the desk looked down at me as I looked away. "I...don't know." I mumbled.
"Hmmm....A demon with no name....That is fairly interesting, they at least have a name before getting their first master." The people at the desk wrote down something as they gave me a piece of paper and glasses.
"You shall work here temporarily, before you go back in the real world." I put on the glasses as I looked at the paper while red-head fought with the people behind the desk. "Why let a demon work here?! It's simply unacceptable, especially a female demon!"
I tried pronouncing the words on the paper. "Mo...fu.....Rim.....andi.....McM....unus...." I frowned, continuing to try and say it. "Mofe Rimanda McManus." I looked behind me to see black-hair looking over my shoulder.
He pointed at himself. "I am William T. Spears." He said, as I looked at him blankly. "Will...um.." I said, then smiled. "Will!" I danced around, as his face looked like utter terror. "Will! Will! Will!" I cheered, as red-hair laughed.
"He is Grell Sutcliff." Will said, as I looked at red-hair. "Gr...ill? Grell...Grell!" I smiled, clapping. "She's like a child, why hire her?!" Grell continued arguing with the people behind the desk as they smiled. "Then teach her, as part of your training."
Grell and Will's glasses both knocked to the side as their mouths were agape. Will pushed back up his glasses as I couldn't see his expression. I cocked my head to the side as I questioned him. "..?"
"If it's part of our training, I guess we will." Grell looked at him like he was mad as he complained to him. In the end, Grell finally agreed.
-
"She's like a baby, not even knowing how to solve a puzzle." Grell groaned, sitting on a chair as he looked at me, while I currently looked at the puzzle in front of me. "How do we train her Will? It's impossible." He groaned, looking towards Will.
The puzzle in front of me was a simple one, all I had to do was stack the ABC's in a pyramid starting at Z from the bottom. "Remember Rimanda, there has to be 8 letters at the bottom." Will said, as I nodded.
I thought it was wrong, having 8 letters at the bottom, so instead I put 7. There was two letters left so I stacked them upon each other. "Ah, ah. Will, Grell!" I smiled as Will looked up from his book and Grell blinked a few times.
