When the nurse told them that Rebecca only had a few fractured ribs, a broken wrist and a head injury, they all rushed back and crowded in her room. But she was asleep.
Caden first gasped when he saw Becca. She had gauze wrapped around her forehead, hair messed up and tangled. Her left arm was in a cast all the way up to her elbow and he saw the thin brace around her ribs.
Her dad had the equal reaction as did Milly. She started to tear up then cry. "Becky." She cried, rushing over to her sisters bed.
This caused Becca's eyes to flutter open and shut a few times before they went slack again.
It was hours later, two in the afternoon and Becca had woken up once asking where she was, then freaked out because all she remember was Caden.
So everyone went home, except Caden and Michael and said he'd call if she woke again.
Then it was six fifty three in the evening and Caden's eyes were getting droopy,
"Go to sleep. I'll wake you up in anything changes,"
Caden smiled softly, walking up and kissing Becca's forehead before laying down on the couch the hospital provided.
