"Hey."
"Hey Becca." Caden was slightly out a breath because he wasn't expecting a call. "What's up?"
"I just wanted to say I was sorry for being a jerk in the hospital. I know you were trying to be there for me."
"It's okay. I deserved it. I'm happy you and Michael are happy."
"Same for you and Lana."
"I guess this is it, right?"
"What is?"
"Us. The final goodbye. The last phone call before we're friends."
"I guess so. So, goodbye Caden. I'll miss what we had but just know this; us splitting, was for the better."
"Goodbye Becca." All he then heard was the dial tone as he said, "I love you Becca."
