In the three weeks after Becca's accident, she's healed quite nicely except for a little soreness of her bones here and there. Currently she was talking to Izzy on the phone.
"What do you mean he asked you out? That's huge for you!"
"No it's not. It's embarrassing." Becca could tell Izzy was blushing.
Becca laughed, the sound resonating in her silent room. "I'm happy for you. I can't wait to meet him."
"You so not meeting him. We aren't even dating!" Izzy changed the subject so she didn't have to answer any more questioning answers. "What about Caden?"
"Still a jerk and still here. I see him wandering the halls of school with a sad look on his face. I'm honestly done with him."
"Good for you girl. You don't need no man." Izzy paused while muffled shouts happened from her end of the phone. "I've gotta go. Mom's calling. Bye Bec. Love ya."
"Love you too." But Izzy already hung up.
