Chapter 16

Liam is driving us to his favorite pizza restaurant. The road seems unfamiliar so I can't say I've been there before. It's not in the center city, or else I'm sure I would've known the road, not to mention the fact that there are forest trees around us. Now I'm pretty sure I haven't been there.

I'm not a person who spent their whole freetime in the forest. Sure, I liked to walk around the forest when I have too much on my mind and camped every once in awhile. But I've never spent so much time in a forest and I would be lying if I said it's not relaxing. With everything happening in my life, I'm okay, not happy but okay nevertheless and the forest around me is so relaxing.

I can't describe how it can relax me. Maybe it's the smell of the flower meadows or maybe it's the smell of the bark trees. Maybe it's the colors of the forest or maybe it's the fresh air. It may be because of all those reasons but there's something that keeps telling me I belong here.

''We're here!'' Liam exclaims.

I look around and notice that the car is parked, beside a few other cars. I get out of the car and close the door. I look up towards the big, brightly lighted, several floored cottage that is in front of us. Liam walks forward to me and offers me his hand. I look down at his hand and then up to his to see his enchanting smile. I put my hand in his and smiled at him.

We walk towards the cottage and push open the doors. And what surprised me was the amount of people in this place. It was so crowded, I'm not sure if we'll even find a place to stand. I see the people in here having a good time as they laugh and enjoy their food. As a waiter walks by with food in his hand, I couldn't help but inhale the mouth-watering smell. I look at Liam to see him talking to a waiter, but he senses my staring as he looks back at me and winks. I blush furiously and look away. A few seconds later comes a waiter and stands in front of me and Liam.

''Welcome to Pizza House'' The waiter says. So it's called pizza house... What an original name.

''Hello Alfredo, a table for two and make it in the VIP section, please'' Says Liam.

''Of course Alpha, this way'' He starts leading us to the stairs. We go up two floors and sit at the table in the far corner next to the windows. The view from the windows is incredible. Most of what the view offers are the trees around the cottage but I can see a bit of the pack's town, especially the packhouse which looks like a castle compared to the other buildings in the view, because of it's size. I look back at Liam, who's sitting opposite me.

''What do you want to order?'' The waiter asks, as he smiles at us.

''Two of the usual with a bottle of your finest wine'' Says Liam. Alfredo, the waiter scribbles down our orders and says he'll be back shortly.

''So, is this your favorite place?'' I ask.

''Yeah. I come here a lot. Mostly because I love the food here, other times for parties'' He says. I raise an eyebrow at him as I smile.
