Roman's POV

This is it.

This is what I've been waiting for, ever since Randy started being a pain in the butt. Actually, he's always been a pain, but he's always had his old buds Triple H and Batista to help him out.

Now, though, it's just me and him. One on one. And he's going to be in a world of pain.

I could hear the commotion of the audience outside the locker room door. As this was one of our biggest events, they allowed the public to come in and see it, besides allowing non-students to participate.

"Good luck out there tonight," Dean said from behind me. "Put the pain on Orton for me, will you?"

I put my hand out to bump fists with him. "Deal. Do the same to Rollins."

I looked around the locker room, where now only a few people were milling around. Most of the guys were probably standing in the hallway, near one of the doors to the arena.

Some of them might still be in our other locker room--Randy included. Our gym has two separate locker rooms, and I'm pretty sure it's that way so they can separate some of the guys who have heat with each other. They don't want anyone fighting early before their match.

Hey, I get it though. If I was in the same locker room as Orton, I couldn't make any promises about not giving him justice early.

One of our referees came into the locker room. "Hey, Roman Reigns? Your match is up next."

I walked over to where the ref was holding the door. "Showtime," I muttered to myself as he led me through to the arena.

Sometimes, I forget how big our arena is. When we come here for practice, only a few of the bleachers are filled. Now, every bench has people who scream for the matches. The participants.

People who scream for us.

Once I walked onto the mat, I stood face to face with Randy Orton. And, soon enough, the bell was rung. The match began.

It was rough; he would try to gain the upper hand by trying to put me in holds, but I would break out. I would try to punch him, but he would counter.

It went on and on for quite some time, until Randy slipped up. He tried to slide in front of me and put me into his signature move he called the 'RKO', but I saw it coming just in time. I pushed him away and gave him my own signature move--the Superman Punch. Randy tried to gain his footing, but it was without success, because right then I Speared him, fell on top of him, and the ref slapped his hand onto the ground:

1. 2. 3.

I had come out victorious. I had beaten Randy.

Just like I said I would.

AJ's POV

I clutched my championship as I sat on the locker room bench. I was not going to let Paige take this from me. She is pretty good, of course, but so am I. I'm going to show her that she met her match with me.

One of our match announcers, Lilian Garcia, knocked on the locker room door. "AJ, I'm just about to announce your match. The referee told me to come in and get you, so come on!"

I took a deep breath as I walked through the door. This is it.

As I came through the door, I heard the crowd roar in the multiple bleachers. This was the boy's section of the gym, which is bigger than ours. Looking at the huge audience, I knew that they definitely needed the bigger space for this event.

I couldn't believe how many people had come, just to see high school students wrestle.

I wasn't going to let them be disappointed with this match. They would get what they came for: entertainment.

I skipped around the mat where Paige was currently standing, keeping my eye on her the whole time.

I gave my trophy to the referee for safekeeping, knowing that when this was all said and done, it would return home with me.

I heard the bell, and began letting everything I had on Paige. I was relentless; I hadn't felt this pumped up in a while.

Once, I even heard a little girl scream "YOU'RE AWESOME, AJ!" I was a little thrown off by how she knew my name, but then I remembered that Lilian announced everyone's names before they came out. Or maybe they just saw my name underneath my picture on the list of matches posted outside the arena for guests to see.

Either way, I felt even more determined to win after I knew that some little girl out there was on my side.

Unfortunately, right when I felt determined to win was when everything fell apart.

I tried to hit Paige with a kick, but she dodged it, and picked me up. Too late, I realized that she was putting her move on me--the Ram-Paige.

And right then, the most horrible sound in the world to me was the sound of the bell, signalling my defeat.

I watched as the trophy was given to Paige.

I had lost.
