Chapter 10: Hate

Gabi's POV~

We were all sitting in Paige's hotel room, when suddenly my phone went off a bunch of times. "Can you check that for me Brie?" She nodded and opened my phone, she then showed it to Nikki.

"What is it," I asked.

"Umm nothing don't worry about it. Can I use your phone to call Bryan I left mine in my room?"

"Sure." That was weird.

Few hours later~
Everyone has been keeping my phone away from me. Paige would take it, then Nikki would use it to call Mom, then Brie would use it to check on Bryan, and it just went on. The three always wanted to use my phone for something, acting as if they didn't have their own.

"Can I please just have my phone back?"

"No! I mean I have to use it to call Kevin," Paige said trying to act nonchalant.

"Ya fucking right give it," I snatched the phone out of her hand, running into the bathroom and locking the door. I opened my phone and got notifications from Twitter. I opened it and saw a bunch of tweets.

@Paigelover123: @TheBellas #Gabi needs to learn how to wrestle or get out of the company!

@WWE4Lyfe: @TheBellas Gabi gets on my nerves, she is so annoying. Nikki, Brie are you sure that you guys are related to her?

@AjLeeThe2: @TheBellas I feel bad for whoever Gabi marries, because they're in for hell.

@WWEFan24: @TheBellas I heard Gabi's dating someone. I really feel bad for the sad sap.

Their cruel words got to me, causing me to slightly cry, but quickly wipe the tears away. I walked out and tossed my phone, then sat on the bed. "Hey it's okay. All of them are jealous. You're an amazing wrestler," Brie said trying to cheer me up, while Paige and Nikki hugged me.

"Do you want Dean," Nikki asked.

"Does he know about the hate," I asked.

"Ya."

"Then no."

"Gabi," Paige asked.

"Yes."

"He's calling, what do you want me to say if he asks how you took it?"

"Say I'm fine, because I am."

After the phone call, Seth called telling me that Leighla had arrived. So we went to his hotel room and I was super excited to meet her. Soon we arrived and entered,"Hi I'm Gabi," I said immediately. "I know who you are by the way, Seth won't shut up about you," I said rather quickly.

"Well I hope they were all nice things."

"Believe me, more than just nice."

"Gabi," Paige called.

"Yes."

"Nikki,Brie, and I have to meet up with Triple H and Steph, so we'll see you later."

"Alright. So how did you guys meet?"

"We went to the same high school, but we didn't really talk until Senior year," Leighla explained while Seth just nodded along.

"Where are Roman and Dean?"

"I'm in here and Dean's in your hotel room," Roman said from the bathroom.

"Speak of the devil he's calling me," I said answering the phone. "Hey babe."

"Hey where are you?"

"Seth's hotel room."

"Alright I'm coming over, bye."

"Bye," I said then hung up. Not even four minutes later we heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," Seth semi-yelled.

"Honey I'm home," Dean sang coming in. He sat next to me on the small coach, so we were squished. "Are you sure you're okay?" Dean whispered in my ear.

"I'm fine, I promise," I whispered back.

"I'm not a sad sap," he said referring to one of the hurtful tweets.

"Ya I know, I don't date sad saps," I said playfully.

"I love you," he said, making my heart flutter.

"I love you too," I said, we then shared a short but sweet kiss.

"Awe, how cute," Seth said in the most girly voice ever.

"Shut it Rollins," I said.

Three weeks later-
The hate got tremendously worse, everyone figured out I was dating a WWE Superstar(not who though)and bashed on me for it. Leighla, Dean, Seth, Brie, Nikki, Roman, and Paige have been super concerned, but I just brushed them off telling them I was fine.

Lying to Dean was truly the hardest, because he read me like a book. In the end, I started spending less time with him, I even went to the extent of sharing a hotel room with Paige saying she "needed me". I felt horrible, but I wanted to be strong and not make him upset.

"Gabi," Seth said waving his hand in front of me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Ya."

"Can we talk?"

"Sure, what about?"

After going to his locker room, he started talking. "You've been acting weird and ignoring everyone, are you okay," Seth asked with pure worry in his eyes.

"Kind of," I said letting my walls drop just a little.

"Gabi if this hate is getting to you, tell us. There's no need to hide from us we're all on your side. We're not going to listen to what those people say and hate you. Dean is sure as hell not going to leave you, he adores you!" I let my walls completely fall and cried. Seth immediately hugged me, while Leighla, who's presence I didn't notice, went to find Dean.

"Where is she," I could hear a voice, Dean's voice ask. Soon after he entered and Seth and Leighla left. "Babe what's wrong," he asked holding my head near his chest, petting my hair.

"The WWE Universe hates me," I said burying my face deeper in his chest.

"Let's go," he said then took ahold of  my hand and lead me towards the fans waiting outside the arena. They all started booing, but that didn't stop Dean from doing whatever he was doing. He rose my hand, then began,"This woman is Gabriella Elizabeth Garcia-Colace. For those of you that don't know her, she's a wrestler and a damn good one at that. She doesn't deserve all the hate she's getting, because she's an amazing person and girlfriend. Yes I'm the WWE Superstar that's dating Gabi, and I'm proud of it. I know that this will possibly get more hate, but it doesn't matter, I'll still love her. All the people who love and care for her now will continue even if she gets hate. So everyone who's talking crap about her, go ahead and continue, it doesn't change a damn thing."

He took my hand, intertwined our fingers, then lead me back to my locker room. Once we got inside he closed the door and held me. "Babe I'm sorry, I should've realized that the hate got to you sooner. I'm such a bad boyfriend," Dean said sighing.

"No you're not. You just went out there and stood up for me. I can't name another person who would do that for me. Thank you,"I said then kissed him.

"I would do anything for you, because I love you."

"I love you too."

I feel like I say this every chapter but sorry!! I know I haven't updated in awhile, but I suddenly got the feeling to write and I did. I make no promise, but I will try to update more often. Thank you all for sticking with me!! I love you!!!!
