Chapter 15: Planned Motherhood

I was walking around the arena trying to spot Nikki and Brie since I haven't seen them since the fight Dean and I had. I turned a corner and saw them talking and laughing with someone who I couldn't see so I quickly walked  over. To my surprise the mystery person was my mom!

"Hey Mom why are you here," I asked while hugging her.

"I'm hear to see my girls and this new boyfriend of yours," she said grinning.

Oh god, I thought since my mom is rarely ever accepting of the boys I date. "Oh that's great. Have you ran into him yet?"

"No, I was hoping you could introduce him to me."

"Oh, ya, of course let me just go find him," I said walking off praying that I wouldn't find Dean any time soon. To my dismay I found him very quickly, he was talking to Seth.

"Hey babe," he greeted me.

"Hey Bella we haven't talked in a long time, how've you been," Seth asked.

"I was great until now. My mom's here and she wants to meet Dean."

"And why's that a bad thing? I happen to be really good at first impressions," he said looking very offended.

"Yes of course, because when I first came here you were such an angel. Let's just go and get this over with. Bye Rollins."

"See ya."

"Please be good and nice and don't smirk too much and try to agree with what she says and don't give her attitude and have good, proper-"

"Gabi," he said cutting me off,"It'll all be fine, I promise."

"Okay." It wasn't half bad after all Mom really seemed to like him and she laughed at what he said. She even told me how she thought he was possibly the one for me. I was very pleased with the second time she ever accepted one of my boyfriends. The first time was when Punk and I were together.

I went to find Paige but as I was leaving I overheard what my mom was saying to my sisters. "Brianna when are you going to tell your sister," I heard my mom ask.

"Soon. I just don't want her to find out  that I'm leaving to become a mom the same day she finds out Bryan is retiring." I took a quick glance and saw that Nikki wasn't there either.

"Gabi," I heard my favorite British person say.

"Paige, did you hear any of that?"

"No. What's going on?"

"Brie is leaving to become a mom and Bryan is retiring."

"I guess you overheard our conversation."

"Why do you always have to keep stuff from me? Is Dean retiring too? Is Nikki leaving to become an actress? What else are you keeping from?"

"Maina is my last match and Bryan's retiring next week."

"Great," I said walking off to find Nikki.

"Hey Gabi what's wrong," Roman asked as I tried to walk away from him.

"Have you seen Nikki?"

"No. Why?"

"Don't worry about it." I saw her coming out from the trainers' room and immediately ran over to her. "Did Brie tell you or I am for once not the only one that's clueless to everything?"

"That her and Bryan are leaving soon?"

"She told you."

"Since you obviously don't like being last on everything, right now you get to be the first."

"What's up?"

"My injury is serious and may be career ending so I'm out of a action effective immediately."

"Oh my god Nicole. This is crazy."

"I've tried everything Gabi, everything. This may be it. We'll only know after the surgery." I hugged her seeing as her eyes began to water.

"It's not the end you're going to get through this, we're going to get through this. Once Brie leaves the Bella name is in our hands and we're going to be amazing."

"I'm going to go tell Mom and Brie."

"Okay I'm going to find Dean. I'll talk to you later."

I saw Dean so I walked over to him and hugged him so no one else saw that I was crying. "Woah what's wrong?" I didn't respond just held him tighter as more tears started to flow. "Alright let's go," he grabbed my hand leading me to his locker room.

"What's wrong?"

"Brie and Bryan are leaving and so is Nikki," I said then fell apart in his arms.

"It's okay Nikki's going to come back and while she's gone you still have me, Roman, Seth, and Paige." It's like he didn't comprehend what I just said to him.

"I'm gonna go," I said getting up and walking out of his locker room. Dean was, of course, following not too far behind.

"Gabi," he called but I kept walking.

"Gabi can you please stop walking away from me," he said about to catch up to me.

I stopped abruptly, turned around, and said,"Dean can you please stop following me around when I'm clearly fine."

"Okay I won't. Sorry," he said then walked away, looking a mixture of disheartened and frustrated.

"What just happened there," Paige asked.

"He's mad at me. Ugh I'm so dumb!"

"Hey Gabi?"

"What's up Cindy?"

"Dean looks mad and I think he's about to burst."

"I have to go find him. Paige could you please watch Cindy while I'm gone?" Without waiting for her answer I ran to Dean's locker. I knocked and waited quietly for his voice. I heard a soft "come in" so I entered. The second he saw me his face fell. He tried to leave but I quickly grabbed his arm.

"Please hear me out," I begged in a whisper. He didn't reply instead he removed my hand from his arm and walked out.
