Chapter 28: Sticking Around

~One Hour Later~

After walking away from the person who I thought I was going to be with forever, I headed to the airport for my flight to Raw. I checked in and went through security, so I was just sitting next to my gate trying not to cry. I had met a couple fans who recognized me around the airport, but my mood was still the same.

There was thirty minutes before boarding, when Finn called. At first I was going to let it go to voicemail, but I knew I would feel bad for ignoring him, so I picked up on the third ring.

"Hey."

"What's wrong," Fergal asked as soon as he heard the disheartenment in my voice.

"Dean."

"What did he do this time?"

"He was flirting and starting things up again with Renee, so I broke up with him."

"I'm sorry lass."

"He did it for the stupidest reason too."

"What was it?"

"He was jealous, so he did that to get back at me and I wasn't having it, so I left him."

"It was me, wasn't it?"

"I'll tell you all about it later, but right now I need to wrap my head around it myself."

"Okay, so how about I collect you from the airport and you can tell me all about it then?"

"Sounds good, just tell Sasha, she wanted to pick me up too."

"I will. Oh and by the way you and I are rooming together from now on, because Sasha and Bayley didn't have roommates and couldn't handle driving themselves around."

"You're one to talk, you had other people driving you around until you were 34!"

"Do you really have to mention every other day?"

"Of course I do! What kind of friend would I be if I didn't constantly bring up embarrassing things about you," I said then we both laughed.

"I don't know, maybe a good one. Anyway, I have to go, see you soon."

"Bye," I said then hung up.

~About Three Hours Later~

I couldn't sleep throughout the entire flight. My mind was on Dean, and how I possibly just lost the love of my life for good. However, I was thrilled to get off that plane and see Finn. As soon as I got off, I headed straight to baggage claim, which is where Fergal said to meet him. I spotted him almost immediately and practically ran over to him.

"Fergal! I don't think I've ever been happier to see you in my entire life," I said as I hugged him.

"I'm kind of offended, but it's good to see you to."

We walked outside and were about to enter the car, when Finn stopped me,"Okay so I know you're down, but I have a little surprise that I think will cheer you up."

He called out that it was time and out came Nikki!

"Oh my god! Nicole I haven't seen you in forever," I said, them of course hugged my sister.

"Gabi I'm sorry about Dean, I really thought it would work out."

"That's okay, but what are you doing here? Are you debuting on Raw?"
