Hello there, this is my very first fanfiction on wattpad, and my first Elounor or 1D fanfic.

“Do you have everything in your bag?”
“Are you okay?”
“Will you get lost?”
All these questions my mother kept asking me made me wonder how old she thinks I am. Yes, it is my first day at my new school, but I am perfectly capable of going to school on my own.
“Mum,” I said, looking into my mother’s bright brown eyes, “I’ll be fine, trust me. I am sixteen years old after all.”
“I know.” Mum sighed and stroked my hair. “But you’ll always be my little girl, Eleanor, and I still worry about you.”
“I have to leave now, Mum!” I said when I saw the school bus pull up. I kissed her goodbye and hopped onto the bus.
Walking down the aisle, I feel all eyes staring at me. My face started to sweat and I could feel my heart beat faster and faster. I was worried that I wouldn’t find a seat. Suddenly, I spied an empty seat next to a girl with frizzy brunette hair and warm brown eyes.
“Is this seat taken?” I asked her. She turned her head to look at me. Smiling, she said, “No. You can sit here if you like.”
“Thanks,” I said and sat down. “I’m Eleanor, by the way. Eleanor Calder.”
“Nice to meet you, Eleanor. My name’s Danielle Peazer.” Danielle smiled again as we shook hands and I replied, “Nice to meet you.”
“Are you new to this school, Eleanor?” Danielle asked.
“Yes, it’s my first day today,” I replied.
“Really? It’s my first day too!”
“Wow! Maybe we could be friends.”
“Yes, I’d like that.” I couldn’t believe that I had made a friend already before school even started. Way to go, El!
