Hey guys! 160 views already? Thanks so much. Let’s try to get it to 200 views and 10 votes, shall we? Also, for this chapter, I’ve decided to change Eleanor’s POV to Liam’s. (Remember when I said I’d change the POV occasionally? Yeah, so this is an occasion. Don’t worry the POV will be back to Eleanor’s next chapter)

Liam’s POV

Eleanor’s words rang in my head.

She likes you too, she likes you too, she likes you too.

Was she right? Did Danielle truly like me? No, of course not. Why on Earth would the beautiful and perfect Danielle Peazer like me? Me, of all people.

“Liam?” Eleanor clicked her fingers, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Oh, sorry,” I said, “what did you say?”

Perrie giggled. “She said why don’t you ask her out?”

“What?!” I exclaimed, shocked.

“Dude,” Harry said, patting me on the back, “don’t get so worked up.”

“Yeah,” Niall agreed, “if you like her so much, then ask her out.”

I blushed. Wait – did I just blush?

“She wouldn’t even want to go out with me,” I muttered, sadly.

“Did you not hear Eleanor?” Louis asked. “Danielle likes you too! No joke!”

My face lit up with pride and my lips curved into a smile. “Okay, I will!”

“Hooray!” Zayn said.

“Wait a minute,” I said, suddenly getting nervous, “how would I even do it?”

“Well,” Harry started, just as Danielle came in, “you have to do it quick.”

“Do what quick?” Danielle asked, looking at Harry. God, she was perfect. Her eyes were the perfect shade of brown and they sparked, brighter than the stars.

Harry’s face was in utter shock as he tried to keep it a secret. “Uh... well...” he stammered.

I wasn’t going to let him ruin it for me.

“I was going to tell my parents that I couldn’t go to this play that they had tickets for because I was going to hang out with the lads,” I lied. Thank goodness for my quick thinking skills.

“So… um… Danielle… I was wondering if um…” My words were cut off by a loud sharp ring.

“Guys, that’s the bell,” Perrie said, “time for class.”

Damn that bell.

*After 5th period*

“Bye, Ms Winslow!” I said to my Science teacher. Eleanor was the only one out of the gang in my class.

“Hey, Liam,” she said.

“Yes?”

“At the end of lunch… you were going to ask Danielle out, weren’t you?” Eleanor smirked at me.

“Yes, as a matter of fact, I was. But the stupid bell cut me off,” I replied.

“Well, Danielle lives a few blocks down, you could ask her today afterschool or on the bus.” Eleanor and I were paired up for a science project. I was going to go to her house afterschool.

“Thank you, El, really,” I smiled at her.

“No problem.” She winked.

We walked to a big yellow school bus and I followed her on. She took a seat next to Danielle and said, “I think we three can all fit.” That’s what I love about El. She’s so caring.

“Thanks, El, but I’ll sit here,” I said shortly before taking a seat across from them.

“Are you sure, Liam?” Danielle asked, her beautiful eyes full of concern.

“Yeah, I’m sure.”

Just do it. You’ll regret it otherwise. DO IT! DO IT NOW!!

The little voice kept repeating itself over and over again. Maybe I should do it now.

I looked over at Eleanor. “Should I do it?”I silently asked her. She shook her head as if she heard me. Did she have magical powers? Maybe she could turn me into Batman. Oh, wait. It was probably because I looked at Danielle before I looked at El.

It was a silent bus ride. Danielle and Eleanor were on their phones and chatting about stuff on their phones and Channing Tatum. (A/N OMGG CHANNINGG TATUMMMM!!!!!)

The bus came to a sharp stop.

“It’s our stop, Liam,” Eleanor said before we got up. We climbed down the stairs and out of the bus.

“Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow, guys! Bye!” Danielle said and turned away.

“WAIT!” I screamed. Eleanor and Danielle stared at me with their priceless expressions.

I froze on the spot. What just happened? I guess I just got really nervous and didn’t know what I was doing. All I knew was this was my only shot.

It’s time.

“El, could you… um… give us a minute please?” I asked her. She nodded and winked at me.

“I’ll meet you at my house then, it’s right there,” she said, pointing at the large white house, two houses down. She gave Danielle and I a hug and said goodbye before skipping to her house.

“What’s up, Liam?” Danielle asked me. God, she was beautiful. No, she’s more than that. She’s gorgeous. I loved how her personality was just as attractive as her appearance.

“Liam?” I looked into her deep brown eyes. Man, I did it again. I’ve got to stop zooming out. I guess that’s just what love does to you.

“Were you going to say something?” Danielle asked. I was flustered.

“Um… yeah…” You can do it, Liam. It’s now or never, I thought to myself. The fact that it was now or never should’ve scared me to death, but surprisingly, it didn’t. I think it even did the opposite.

“I was wondering if you’d want to go out on a date. Maybe to see a movie this Friday?” I asked her, my voice full of confidence.

Her whole face lit up. Her eyes sparkled. Her lips curved into a smile. And then I heard the 3 words that just made my day.

“I’d love to.”
