Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been updating, I’ve been a busy bee with all this school work since school started. Also, sorry for that short first chapter, but this chapter is longer!

Eleanor’s POV

During the bus ride, Danielle and I swapped phone numbers and I actually got to know her a lot better, like she has an older sister named Sarah, who is 20, and she attends University of Manchester.

The bus came to a stop. There it was.

Carlton School.

My palms started to sweat and my heart started beating faster and faster.

“Nervous?” Danielle asked.

“Very,” I replied.

“So am I.”

We sat in our seats until the flood of students left the bus. Nervously, I stood up, with Danielle following me. Step by step, I eventually made it out of the school bus.

“Took you long enough,” Danielle teased. I giggled in response.

“I’m not sure where to go…” I admitted.

“Just follow me. We’re supposed to go to the principal’s office to meet her.”

Danielle took the lead, as she’s been to the school a lot during the weekend. Her mum wanted to make sure she knew exactly where to go. Plus, she used to live in Barnsley, just half an hour away from Doncaster. I, on the other hand, lived all the way in London.

“Here it is,” Danielle whispered. I looked up to the see the label on the door.

Principal

“I’ll knock.” Danielle winked at me and quietly tapped her knuckles on the door.

“Come in,” said a strong female voice.

My shaking hands grasped the handle and turned it clockwise. I gently pushed the door open.

“Hello girls. I am Ms Wen. I assume you girls are Danielle Peazer and Eleanor Calder?” Ms Wen seemed really friendly.

“Yes, ma’am,” I said politely. “I am Eleanor Calder and this here is Danielle Peazer.”

Ms Wen smiled. “Well it’s nice to meet you both.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you too,” Danielle and I said in unison.

“So who helped you girls get here? Did you know your way around?”

“Yes,” Danielle answered, “my mother took me here quite a lot in the weekends, so I knew where your office was and all the other rooms.”

“It’s also a good thing, since Danielle and I are in most of the same classes. And the same bus,” I added.

“It is,” Ms Wen agreed. “But, just in case, I have assigned someone to give you a tour and make sure you’re okay.” She turned to the PA system and clicked the button. Speaking clearly into the microphone, she said, “Perrie Edwards, please report to Ms Wen’s office. That’s Perrie Edwards to Ms Wen’s office, please. Thank you.”

Within minutes, there was a knock on the door.

“Come in,” said the principal. A petite girl with wavy blonde hair and clear blue eyes opened the door slightly.
