Eleanor’s POV
“Don’t forget the poster’s due in tomorrow!” Ms Anderson chirped before dismissing us. I shoved my books into my bag and headed for the door.
“Eleanor! Wait up!” My head swiveled around and saw Liam rushing towards me.
“Hey,” he said after stopping and catching his breath.
“Hi,” I replied. “Ready for lunch?” My eyes looked up and saw the girl that had just threatened me a few hours ago. Her eyebrows furrowed together as her eyes narrowed, watching me like a hawk.
“So what do you think?”
“What? Oh, I’m sorry, I must’ve drifted off,” I apologized, blushing scarlet red.
Liam chuckled, “It’s fine. Honestly. I said, ‘what should I get for lunch: pizza or pasta?’”
“First world problem,” I joked, “but I say pizza.”
“That is why we’re friends,” Liam joked back.

“Oh my god, Eleanor, you’re the best! This pizza is amazing!” Liam announced, his mouth full of cheese, tomato and dough.
“Hey, where’s Louis?” Niall asked.
“He should be here soon,” Zayn informed him.
“So, when’s your date?” Perrie asked Liam and Dani.
“Tomorrow,” Danielle said, smiling wider than ever.
“That means we have to go shopping after school today!” I said happily. “We’ll pick a pair of shoes for you and I’ll pick out the perfect dress or outfit: whatever you want!”
“Yeah, it’ll be just us three,” Perrie said.
“I’m so excited already!” Dani squealed.
“What are you excited about, Danielle?” Louis appeared behind us, hand in hand with –
“Hannah,” I whispered, praying no one heard me.
“Liam and Danielle are going on a date tomorrow and we’re going shopping after school,” Perrie chirped.
“Babe, I’m gonna grab some lunch, do you want any?” Hannah asked, her voice sickly sweet.
“No thanks, but let me come with you,” Louis said, grasping her hand.
Hannah cackled in my mind but everybody else probably heard a giggle.
“You should spent time with your friends babe, I’ll be back soon, I promise,” she replied before pulling him close to her and pressing their lips together. After they pulled away, she strutted away.
“Guys listen,” Louis started, “can you please do me a big favour?”
“Sure, what it is?” I asked. Ask me out, ask me out, ask me out.
“I’d really love it if you three and Hannah would get to know each other better. So... um…”
Don’t say it, don’t say it, don’t say it.
“Can she come with you guys tomorrow?” Damn!
“Louis, we’d love for her to come, but it’s just that we kind of decided it was just going to be the three of us,” Danielle said.
“Oh…I get it,” Louis said, looking disappointed.
“We’re sorry, it’s just really private,” Perrie tried explaining.
“Please,” Louis whined, doing his best puppy dog face. I tried to avoid his eyes, I’d immediately agree if I looked into those deep blue orbs.
“El?” Don’t look up, don’t look up, don’t look up.
I sighed and said, “Sure, she can come.” Damn it, I looked!
“Great! She’ll be psyched!” I doubt it.
“Hey Lou,” Hannah started walking towards us with a tray full of food.
“Hey babe, I’ve got good news!” Louis said as he snuck his arm around her waist.
Hannah set her tray down and they sat down together.
“What’s up?” She asked, before taking a bite.
“Perrie, Eleanor and Danielle invited you to go shopping with them today!” Louis said, smiling with pride.
Hannah’s eyes widened in shock. It looked like she was going to flip a table over. But she held it back and forced a fake smile.
“Oh gosh, you’re so kind. You shouldn’t have,” she gushed.
“It’s no problem,” Perrie gushed back.
“I’m so excited!”
This was going to be a long day.
