Hearing those words, made Reid feel tears in his eyes even though he couldn't see. Seiri clenched a hand on his shoulder and nodded his head once. "Now you feel, you see your love in pain begging you to save him but, what if you are to late?"

He tipped Reid's head back and gave him the antidote. "You should feel better soon doctor, but what if he can't save you in time?" Grabbing his scalpel, his eyes locked with Derek's, "Do you catch me or save him?"

Right when he asked, he sliced Reid throat deep enough for him to start bleeding but not kill him quick. When Derek rushed to his side, Seiri turned to a side door and ran.

Gurgling softly, Reid tried his best to not breathe hard to fast or risk more injury to himself. Feeling Derek's hands on him made Reid whimper, "Help.. Help me.." He couldn't speak without the pain hitting him.

It all happened so fast, yet it felt like Derek was moving in slow motion. Hotch ran after the man as fast as he could. "Help him!" He yelled running past them.

Morgan worked as quick as he could freeing Spencer from chair and picking him up carrying him outside to the waiting ambulance. He wasn't going to lose him. He couldn't. Morgan never left his side. He rode with him to the hospital where he was whisked away for treatment.

Hotch kept on the other man's trail. He had the rest of the team gathered outside an abandoned building. "We go in quick, you see him you shoot. Don't hesitate."

Seiri watched the agents come at him in his hiding spot, waiting for them to come in. He stood in the middle of the room and watched the leader come in with his gun pointed directly at him.

"Go ahead Agent Hotchner, I am dead already since my angel is in heaven. You want to make me pay for hurting the precious Doctor so go ahead, I will not fight you." He watched Hotch and knew he was going to try to take him in. Sighing, he brought the gun to his own temple and pulled the trigger.

After hours had passed Spencer slowly started to wake up moaning in pain. "De.. Derek..." His voice was raspy and in pain. His eyes were completely bandaged up and he had a bandage around his throat. He wiggled his fingers until he felt a strong hand touch his own.

Walking into the room, Doctor Winston cleared his throat getting his patient's attention. "Hello Spencer, I am Dr. Adam Winston. The trauma to your throat shall heal but your eyes took most of the damage. With the puncture wounds and the anthrax has damaged them considerably." He sighed, "You will need surgery to try and repair the damage but it will take time."

Turning to Derek, the doctor sighed softly, "He will need help agent. Make sure he takes it easy. Stress will not help him heal. I will be back soon." Leaving the room, Spencer sat quietly letting it sink in. He was going to be blind for the rest of his life it would seem. "Why.. Why me?" His voice was full of pain.

"I don't want to kill you. I will if I have to. Put the gun down." Hotch ordered aiming his gun at the man. "Don't do anything stupid. Drop your.." He wasn't even finished with his sentence before the man took his own life. Gideon walked over to Hotch. "What happened to shoot first ask later."

"Old habits."

Morgan sat at Reid's bedside. He wasn't sure how long he had been there. He just knew he wasn't leaving. He jumped in his seat hearing Spencer move. He took his hand gently. "Yeah, Spence. I'm here." His voice was soft as anyone had ever heard. He kept a loving hold on Spencer's hand as the doctor came in and explained Reid's injuries.

"I'm not leaving his side." He meant every word he'd be there every step of the way for the geeky little nerd. "It's all my fault. I caused this. If I had done something differently to save his wife, you wouldn't be here right now." He broke, tears were evident in his thick voice. Derek wasn't one to cry easily but, when it came to Spencer he was an emotional wreck.
