'When are you gonna give me that goddammit shot gun!', read the text that joke Alex up.

It was 2:34 am and Lyne had texted him. He was sleeping when the text woke him up. He knew that often Lyne couldn't sleep at night and needed someone to talk to so he set his notification tone to the loudest one, so that he would wake up when Lyne texted him. He picked up his phone and even though he was really sleepy, he kept on replying her, he asked 'why?'.

She said that she needed it.

'But why do you need a gun? I don't want you to get into any trouble'

'You need to understand Alex, I really need it', read her text.

'Okay! But please don't kill anyone, especially your father, it won't help you, or your mom.'

'I know', replied Lyne.

'So when can I get it?', Lyne's texts where full of desperation.

'I don't know, day after tomorrow maybe.'

'Okay.', Lyne texted.

'I'll get you the gun, now go to sleep!', the last text Alex send.

Lyne read his texts while she lay on her bed, with stone cold cheeks with dried up tears. That moment, she felt devastated, she was also leaving a friend like Alex, someone who was always there, someone who really cared. Though he too wasn't the type to show, he would be sad to lose her. She just lay on her bed. She didn't even talk to her mother, she couldn't. What would she say to her? To fight a case against her father? A case against Mr. Bennington? For all the world cared about he was rich. And when she saw her mother struggling with her bills, she couldn't possibly tell her anything.

She didn't say a word, she knew she had to go far far away, away from everyone. Till then she could just drown in her memories. She knew her mother was crying last night. Just imagine the helplessness she was in. Carrying a child for 9 months, giving birth to her, raising her all alone, and now, 16 years later, giving her away to a man who scarred their lives for ever?

Lyne knew what she was gonna do with that shot gun, who she was gonna go after. For the world already had too many men like her father, she could get rid of one. She was determined, she had been thinking about it a lot lately, and even if she was arrested, her mother would be better off without her. All she had to do, was just point the gun at him, and pretend to pull the trigger. That's all.

She would try threatening him first, and if it didn't work, well then, she would obviously carry a loaded gun.

Lyne smirked, as she lay on her bed. The thought that she could, for once take control made her happy. She didn't care about herself or the law, she just wanted to be free. Free from her father. And if a tiny metal bullet could help her then, why not?

She got up and went towards her mirror, wiping the smeared eyeliner off her cheeks, she started putting on her eyeliner and mascara. She had planned it all, first she would go to Alex's house, and then her father.

She started putting on lipstick, and while brushing the blood red cosmetic across her chapped lips, she smirked and whispered.

"Beware daddy".
