After the war games incident I started eating with nico and hazel who didn't mind me being the son of death. They were great like that, Rachel started eating with us too and we laughed and we became friends. Nico was the only one who would spar with me for sword training, during archery Chiron left me alone I started to feel like an outcast. I started wandering the forest and meeting creatures, like a giant ant, or a scorpion. Those would scuttle around with me for a while but would leave. I named the ant Fred and the scorpion Sam. They would return sometimes but mostly kept to themselves. I started to get better with the sword and quite excellent at archery. The Apollo kids hated me for it because I was almost as good as them. I stopped talking except during meals because that's where my only friends were. At dinner on Friday Percy and Annabeth came over and asked basically to everyone but me
"We are going out to find Leo, if you're in meet us at the canoeing lake at midnight." He got some slight affirmatives and then moved on over to the guy who wore glasses and the purple shirt. He went around to other people and then continued eating. Rachel glanced at me and I her our eyes met and she shook her head no. as if she could read my mind.
That night I went down to the canoeing lake and stood in the shadows watching and listening to 7 people there.
"We are going to find Leo, I know he's alive" Percy whispered
"Where to start?" a girls voice asked
"The underworld" nico said they all nodded
"When?" the guy with the purple shirt asked
"Tomorrow" Percy replied
"How are we going to exit camp?" hazel asked
"I have guard duty I'll just follow you out." Frank's voice echoed
"A search for one who is lost,
Ended without starting,
An old acquaintance of the water,
Shall ride home on a bronze dragon." I spoke in whispers but I could tell that the 7 people had heard me. They unsheathed their swords and frank readied his bow.
"Who's there?" the purple shirted guy asked
'No point in running.'
"You could escape"
"Wait that sounded like the oracle..." Percy muttered "Rachel?"
"Nope!" I said
"SETH!!!" hazel said and stormed up to me "What are YOU doing here!?"
"Percy said, we are going to find Leo if you're in meet here at midnight"
"Ugh!" she walked back down to the shore.
