I woke up in a bed, with a boy about my age standing over me muttering things. My left arm appeared broken with some bone sticking out of forearm, but it didn't hurt.

"Oh good you're not dead." The boy had stopped muttering and lifted his head so i could see him. he had almond brown hair and storm grey eyes like Annabeth.

"where am i?" i asked looking around the room there was a book shelf with several titles that i couldn't read from where i was.

"In my room, in Boise Idaho." he looked at the books and then back at me.

"IDAHO!" i groaned trying to sit up.

"yes, and don't try and sit up."

"yeah," i replied lowering my self back down. "so where is Idaho, south of Alaska right?"

"south east. Why?"

"I was in Alaska before i was here..." i racked my brain trying to figure out how i ended up in Idaho. "how did i get here?"

"you fell out of my tree." he replied pointing out the large window.

"oh." several large branches littered the ground around the largest tree. "sorry about the branches."

"it's okay. We were going to prune it next week anyway."

"so... how far south are we from Alaska?"

"Somewhere around 2000 miles."

"Any chance i could get there in less than 3 days?"

"You could fly" he looked back at me "it would take like 7 hours but that's faster than driving."

"Thanks"

"Why were you in Alaska anyway?"

"I was searching for something." i replied trying to keep the details vague.

"Well before you go ill fix your arm."

"Wait how are You going to fix my arm?"

"Magic" he replied dead serious

"Seriously?"

"Yeah." he looked back at my arm "it'll hurt though"

"Well lets get this over with." i said gritting my teeth. The boy mumbled something and the bone snapped back into place and i screamed.

"OH MY GODS THAT HURT!" i yelled.

"Gods?" the boy glanced at the books and back at me.

"um, sorry. i meant God. singular" i replied trying not to get this kid confused about the whole the Greek gods are real thing, i still didn't get how that worked.

"No." he said standing up and walking over to the bookcase. he grabbed the first book thin and blue and flipped through the pages fast. he walked back towards me and flipped the book around to show me the page.
